So, I haven't played in a long time, but my previous save was quite progressed.
My last save was in a dojo, and I was already quite far with the progression with the Girls.
Now, when I load that save with the 0.9.0f update, I only have 3 silouhettes (Luna and 2 others) in the Relationship-Tab, which is kinda strange? When I start a complete new save, all silouhettes are there.
Not sure if the game progresses more than one year, as the calendar doesn't show a year, but it starts at May 8th, while my save was in September.
Soo. is there a way to fix the Relationship-Tab with my old save to continue it? Also, the Dojo was gone after I slept, don't remember how to access it.
Ah yes, another way to show my progression might be my stats?
Charisma 75, Creativity 78, Fitness 74, Knowledge 56, Subtelty 102, Restaurant Popularity 702. - Would be a shame to lose all that just to have access to the new content :(
Which would still make it a dead game on itch.
It's also great that they posted "Fun with AI - Public Version" on 23. June, which you also can only access as a patreon, so not sure what that news actually means.
They also announced a public release in january on patreon, couldn't find anything in that regard as well.
Yea, it's a long time, but it took them already 6 months to get from 8.3 to 9 on patreon, and 9.6. was just uploaded in May
So either it is abandoned here, or the public release will just be "around the corner".
9.5 is uploaded on several different sites, but it's the question if it's uploaded by HopesGaming or someone else, as well as if you trust those other sites to download it from or not.
It would be easier to know if it's abandoned if we could get infos from HopesGaming themselves or is a patreon could share information from the lastest news about Releases, which was posted on patreon in April.
It's kinda strange though.
We have public 0.8.3 here, on patreon there are 0.9.6 payed but only 0.7.2 public. That's a bit inconsistant.
Though, the question would be, if/when a 0.9 update will be released here, or if it truely is abandoned.
To compare this: 0.8.3 was released in June 2022 here, and January 2022 for patreons.
With 0.9.0 being released for patreons in January 2023, we could assume that we might get 0.9.0 on itch within june, or an updated release later this year. But if there is no update coming in 2023, then I'd assume it is really abandoned here.

Interesting. I rewatched the 6. recording again after loading the save today, and immediately got the 7. recording.
Just to be clear, I wachted all recordings I had almost every (or every second) day.
Maybe the trigger was bugged and got 'reloaded' again with loading the save.

Though, I have no further progress, I shall wait a couple ingame-days to see if it works now, since I got the 7th now.

So, sleept through ~3 days and rewatched all recordings. After listening to the 7th again, the quest got triggered.
I think I can confirm now, that this quest is bugged.
So, I played for a couple hours now, progressed to Stage 9 of the Main-Story, Lv5 Soladato. I had around 6 saves by now, and as mentioned earlier, deleted all saves of the prior game-versions.
But now all of the old saves reappeared and my .08 saves are ALL gone, except for the auto-saves.... this is rather strange.

So, I ignored the first message and I got to the main menu. Realized all my saves were from .06 appearently, even though I was quite sure I played .07.
Anyway, I deleted the old saves as they were not compatible anyway. Started a new game with full experience. Skipped the introduction, and during the home-tour, another error came up, this time a shorter one.
So I deleted all old files and only extracted the new ones. It works now just fine, but it would be interesting what leads to the problem in the first place.
I usually always update renpy-games by just extracting the new files over the old ones, and in ~90% of the time, there is no problem with that.
So, I downloaded the new update and overwrote the 0.07 files. The game won't start anymore:

Oh yea, thanks for the reminder "Bugged" is a good word. When fighting the 'evil brother' (forgot his same) I managed to get stuck everytime after the cutscene were we rip through him. I think I could move again if I saved at that point and reloaded that save again. One time I could see the body of him still standing but inside me, which probably caused that bug.
I guess it would work if you'd move his body a bit away, so we're standing next to him, not over him.
