I did the assets for this game, so I was in contact with the devs, and they said that they probably didn't have time to fix those issues/didn't know how to.

I worked on this game. One thing the instructions don't mention is that, when you press CTRL to possess either the dog or the player, your mouse must be on the character you want to control. If that doesn't work, you are probably not in direct line of sight of the other character.

Thank you so much!

Yeah, I wish I noticed that exploit before time was almost up... But thanks for playing it!

Woo hoo! I got 1910 points! And nice game, btw! It was really fun!

I played and rated your game, and it was pretty awesome!

By the way, guys, even if you already posted, be sure to check this topic from time to time to rate new games that are added!

Hey, this game's pretty neat!

Man, your game is awesome! (I made sure to rate it, too.)

I'll get to your game in a bit. If we end up with 200 replies, it's a good thing I'm playing every game as it gets posted (or nearly so)! :)

I just played and rated your game! It was pretty neat, though it could've used some polish. (Though, of course, the time limit probably kept you from doing that.)

I hope so :). If my little plan works out, everyone who posts here will get tons of ratings (because everyone who posts here must rate everyone else's game), including yours!

No problem!

I rated your game, and I must say that I enjoyed it (what little bit of it I played, that is). And thank you for rating mine! Hopefully, if we can get some more replies, both of our games will get tons of ratings!

Your game is really good! I didn't have time to make it to the end, but it's a very unique idea! Although it would've been nice if you could've put some more polish in it, the time limit probably kept you from doing that.

Thank you!

Here's our game! I hope you enjoy it! https://charliechumbuck.itch.io/thevengefulorb

It's a fast-paced, simple adventure through the depths of... well, you know...

Okay, guys! Voting is almost up, and there's plenty of games that don't have many ratings, but I have a plan. If you post a game here, everyone else who has posted a response must play and rate your game (if at all possible), and you must do the same for theirs. If many people reply to this post, this may be difficult, but you must rate and play as many games here as you can.

Let's start with my team's game: https://charliechumbuck.itch.io/thevengefulorb

Defeat demons with a sentient orb in this fast-paced, simple game!

Thank you so much! The programmer on my team did a wonderful job (I was graphics and sound FX).

Here's our game. Hopefully, you'll enjoy it quite a bit! It's fast-paced and, according to some people who have already played it, quite fun! https://charliechumbuck.itch.io/thevengefulorb

I'll try to get to y'all's games when I can!

Here is a game that hopefully meets your standard of juice: https://charliechumbuck.itch.io/thevengefulorb

Defeat some demons with a sentient orb! Yay!

I don't know if this counts, but my team's game contains an orb that you'll grow an emotional attachment to :)

Oh my goodness, that made me laugh so hard! Thanks so much for doing this; it seriously made my day.

Btw, if you played the game, did you enjoy it?

Probably the biggest regret I have is that we (as in my team) failed to account for a difficulty-nullifying exploit that can be performed in the game. I don't want to say how to perform the exploit because I still want people to enjoy the game for how it was meant to be played. Thankfully, though, the exploit is something that is completely under the player's control (once they realize they can do it), so it's not like the game forces them to perform the exploit, if you see what I mean.

Here's our game! https://charliechumbuck.itch.io/thevengefulorb

Thank you so much! I'll see about getting to your game sometime.

Oh, okay.

This game is pretty creative, though the controls are kinda sluggish.

Just curious: you do realize that the enemies can't hurt the rocket directly, right?

Same here. But, yeah, it was pretty neat!

If you enjoyed the game enough, it would help my team if you posted the link to that new "hidden gems you've played" topic! But, like I said, only do this if you actually feel that this game is a "hidden gem that is not getting enough attention," as the topic states.

How about my team's game? https://charliechumbuck.itch.io/thevengefulorb

Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Technically, I was the designated "game designer" for the team, but we all ended up helping to come up with the idea for the main mechanic; I really like how it turned out!

Oh, and thank you, by the way! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Trust me, there's an extra part and an ending. When you get to these parts depends on your score. I'll give you a hint: there's one really bad biblical number and one really good one that comes after it...

Thank you so much! Keep in mind, FricativeMelon programmed it, not me; I just made the graphics and sound effects lol

And you can thank Gil Steinberg for that epic music. Oh my goodness, that track is so good...

Your game is very neat! The levels take a little while to retry, but other than that, your game is really good!

My only criticism is that I'm pretty sure "only one" meant that the player only has one of something that they normally have more of in a particular genre. But this doesn't change the fact that your game is excellent! (I couldn't get past that one level with the four boxes lol)

I will say that your game is much more creative than mine is. Mine's basically just God of War's Leviathan Axe in a space shooter lol (I haven't played the game; I just remember Mark Brown talking about it.)

Thank you so much! I'm glad you like it!

I'm not trying to brag when I say that even I find it addicting at times. Something about it is strangely fun. (I wasn't the one who programmed it; I just made the graphics and sound effects.)

Your game was very creative! The game-breaking "switch indefinitely" glitch was unfortunate, but if (and when) you fix it, your game has the potential to be super fun!

Now, if you don't mind, please play my team's game: https://charliechumbuck.itch.io/thevengefulorb

It's a 2d space shooter where you fire only one bullet... that you can control the movement of...

This game is indeed interesting. It was kind of a shame I didn't have someone else to play with, and that "switch indefinitely" bug made the game unplayable after that point, but it was nonetheless a very original idea! If you could fix that glitch, this would be a very fun game to play! (If you don't mind, please play my game, too. I'll add it in a reply to the topic you posted.)
