Also loved the bosses staying at their current HP, I'm the kind who despises repetition, and this game was a breath of fresh air (of casual difficulty :D)

Not gonna lie I rage-quit when I kept falling and had to wait for the narrator every time (I'm also a bit tired already lol). I realize now from the other comments that you're supposed to wall jump, though the enemy bullets also make you fall. Overall I liked the atmosphere, the music. The gun animation and feedback could be a bit improved as it felt like a toy gun with no real power.

This game is so charming with its circus theme and everything being jumpy and colorful I went all the way to the end. Nice weapon designs and cutscenes. Also good technical polish: shader precompliation and working options menu, just one small point is that the FOV I changed got reset with the next boss.

Thanks a lot for the kind words. For the visual style issue, I'm well aware of it, half of those Character/NPC sprites are placeholder as we had a lot of members too busy during the jam. The team did show interest in continuing the project so we hope things improve later on.

Amazing little game, but man are these bosses hard lol

Hahaha nice little experience. You escape only to get eaten whole by the sun. Good job on a small complete game.

Very clear inspiration from HiFi Rush with a twist. Really amazing use of the theme, and the combat, though needs some getting used to is fun. You can't avoid having to sit down and spin that tape backward like a 90s kid most of the time haha

I only had one issue was that I couldn't change the options (A-D didn't work), I wanted to disable the tutorial but couldn't.

Nice boss design but man it's hard to keep avoiding the projectiles, the mouse going to the screen edges limits the camera movement unfortunately. Good job.
