I liked it, really challenging and the map not having normal borders was cool.

That said I finally RQ after my 3rd attempt when i tried to send my king back to one of my bases but pathfinding decided going over the map border, through an enemy base, was the quickest way to get there and he died before I realised which felt a bit... egh.

For what it's worth on one of my attempts I got respawning enemies and an enemy outpost within attacking distance of one of my spawners.

Ah I see, gear changing works via right-click context menu on the items and then mining is just pointing your ship at an asteroid and firing. I'll expand the tutorial a bit more for next dd.

The asteroids outline is a known inconsistent graphical issue I forgot to add to the list before publishing, I know it's just a cosmetic thing but in retrospect I can see how that'd be very confusing to anyone else.

Thanks for trying it out and for the feedback on where you got stuck.

Manjaro KDE with pipewire and pipewire-pulse, it does look like there's some relevant output.

On the gameplay note yeah I didn't get lost for so long I was bothered/annoyed and hate the yellow paint trend.

- no sound but there's sound options in-game? or it's not working on the linux build for me

- shotgun easy to miss, i think i only noticed it on my third trip to the store

-  loads of areas are so dark i couldn't see where i was going, particularly around RL tunnel

- got lost for a long time with the grey + blue keycards and only seeing lots of red doors

- could totally be my bad, i cleared downstairs and the first couple floors but forgot the upstairs before i started looking all over the level for a missed door but I picked up the blue keycard first so that was the first colour of door i was looking for

Those are all thoughts I took down while playing ^ overall though pretty fun and you've nailed the feeling of a legit boomer shooter so far.

Awh, did you hit a bug with it?

Generally pretty fun, ran into a few bugs or confusing parts.

  • Clicking sell on items seems to just play a sound, not implemented yet?
  • There was a couple of times where I couldn't re-enter the dungeon or talk to the town NPCs until I went to the main menu and back again.
  • My "The Wheel of Extinction" shows up as "null null" in shops instead.

Performance and everything was fine, played the web version via ffox. Definitely haven't finished playing yet, just what I've came across so far.

Thanks, I haven't seen those errors yet but I'll look into it.

Re: the enemies, I'd forgot to explain on the game page that since there is currently no player death, being at shot while you're at 100% of 0 shields left because you don't have any equipped just doesn't do anything. Guessing that's what happened.
