No worries! I mean this is about as short a time as you can have to make a game, so I would be shocked to see a game that doesn't have some scuffs from being ruffed. Keep up the good work, hope to see you again in future jams!

This game is pretty good! The graphics are pretty cute and simple, and I like how it turned out.

A very cute and solid game! I especially love the main character. It really reminds me of the Nitrome style to be honest, did you take any inspiration?

It seems that you sometimes can't jump from the window blocks and you are occasionally forced to a stop on them. On the third level, the game crashes. Other than that, it was pretty good!

The character design was my favorite part tbh, lookin cool! I also enjoyed the game mechanics too, they feel pretty solid. My only thing is during the fight, the punching attack feels a bit useless. It's too easy to completely avoid.

You really have the aesthetics down pat for this game, great job! I found myself playing it again and again for a bit there, so I like the puzzles too. One thing I would like to see is a battery count # in addition to the bars to make it quicker to read.

Ohh I see! To be honest there was a curtain over the window but I couldn't remember whether it has always been there or not.

This was a lot of fun and a cool concept! I think it would really benefit from a visual indicator of how many mirrors you used in a level to be honest.

A pretty solid game! On the third level the light entirely dissappeared for me, but up until that point I was having a lot of fun! One thing I will say though is that holding R while moving the player and mirror is a bit burdensome, maybe you could just have the player left click to pick up and drop the mirror?

I love this! This is very cute, very creative, and very fun!

This game is super simple but the atmosphere is on point! However, I don't see how it's using the Window limitation at all.

~Buscadon: Thank you so much! I'm the main graphics designer for the project and I'm really glad you like the sprites. We were trying a new style which was a lot of work and definitely risky for a short project like this, so it's great to see it work out.

And thanks for letting us know about the getting stuck part! It might be that you got stuck after teleporting through a mirror? If so, it might be that you essentially reached the end of the game. Unfortunately Adon didn't have time to finish up the level b/c of real life obligations, but congratulations on beating the game!

Our submission is very late, but since this is our first jam our goal was just to be able to submit something at all to be honest. It's very far from perfect, but we're happy that we were able to do this much, and we'd like to submit it to the jam even if there's not much time left to vote!

Here's the submission: https://cloud-coast.itch.io/sweet-sour
