One tip I can give you is to push hard for a working web build. At least for me, not having to download and run anything from a stranger on my pc is always a big plus

What a well polished game! Loved the screen transition effect, and the small teleport animation at the start of the levels. The pixel art is also superb, specially the full sized character on the score screen.

You did great, contrats!

So close!

We wanted to get it somewhere around nostalgia filled and still modern touches. Its definitely not perfect, but I feel like we were close enough :)

Thanks for playing!

Thanks for the kind words! We are glad to be able to the get the "GO GO GO" sentiment across haha, we were all like this during development as well

Appreciate the thoughtful and complete feedback! Thanks for playing

Amazingly well done! Really good pixel art, the polish, transitions, sound effects, everything was on point, congrats!

I could not get the game running on my browser :( (Windows + Chrome, all pretty standard)

Really cool idea of movement mechanic with the restrictions! I feel like having a few more people on board could really bring the concept to life, but it works well as a tech demo, congrats!

Cool game, pretty well polished and overall fun experience. A little bit too hard for a Jam entry IMO, but still fun!

Simple and effective, will be happy to keep an eye here for future versions, but from v.1 already, it does what it promises and let us focus on the fun part of game making, thanks!

Thanks James!

There is actually no AI, the robot follows a pretermined stroke sequence, but I definitely agree we could have done a better job of explaining and show this to the player haha, thanks for the feedback

Hey Jerry, thank you, it means a lot to read this! We already have a few ideas in mind if we ever decide to continue this game :)

Yeah! I got the same reference from a friend after the game was done, guess it was sitting in the back of our heads somewhere during those years haha, thank you!

Thank you! We had a lot of work, but it was lots of fun as well :)

Thanks Bolt!

Hey! This must be some browser security setting, we use localstorage to storage player progress, I am sorry that this is making you unable to play

Thanks for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed it!

Appreciate the feedback and ratings <3

The strokes are predetermined indeed, for example, in level 2 it will always be "strong forward", "strong up", "strong forward", "strong backwards","strong backwards", or something like this haha. But we could have done a better job of displaying this to avoid confusion :)

Thanks Woot!

Regarding the feedbacks, point 1 makes a lot of sense, I personally agree it would be a great quality of life change!
Regarding point 2, we had a plan to keep track of replays needs, strokes needs and amount of props used, and set a "score" based off of that, but at the end, there was no time. But I 100% agree with you on it, it would make replaying more engaging :

Thank you Bladaa! We thought of the same thing, if we ever decide to move on with the project, first thing we would fix would be the physics. Glad that you liked it!

10/10 creation! I was really looking forward to play after seeing the yt vid and it lived up to the expectation, really well thought concise experience, nice polish and super creative! Congratulations

10/10 IMO, cool idea, amazing execution! Congratulations

5/5 on all categories for me! The mechanic is so engaging and the levels are so well built. You should make this into a full game, congrats!

I love the references to common shopkeppers "lingo", really great for a first jam entry

So well polished! I love this kinds of games where the mechanics is super simple to explain, but so hard to master. Congratulations

Love all the connections with the theme, also love the "tutorial" and the overall concept. The presention is simple, but get the message across. It reminded me of Baba is You, which is aways a good thing haha

Absolutely beautiful presentation, congratulations on that!

Thanks Daniel!

Appreciate the feedback! Being hard was part of the plan, the incosistency is something we wish we had time to work on a bit more :)

Came from the youtube video! Really cool concept and well executed, congratz!

Came from the youtube vid. Amazing entry! The experience you guys carry really shows up through the submission. Congratulations, really weel made entry!

Its a cool roles reversed take, for sure. I also liked the Pharao running animation!

I think I must be doing something wrong haha

The highlight for me where the puzzle designs, really clever

Appreciate the feedback Alexio, will pass the compliments to our level designer,  we are glad that you enjoyed the game!

Maybe not the most creative idea, but really well executed, I also loved the pixel art animations and how cute Bailey and the Bug look together haha, congratulations on the entry!

Took me a while to understand the link between us was a spiked chain haha, then the whole game made sense. I love the 1bit presentation as well, nice work!

From one 2d Golf game to another, I love how well rounded and polished the whole experience feels! I liked the creativity of the idea as well. I believe this is the first game I gave 5/5 on all ratings. Amazing result for 48 hours

Appreciate the kind words and the detailed feedback! The direction/strength of each stroke was pre determined, but we could have done a better job of displaying that information. Other than that, the non-deterministic physics was something we realized and wanted to fix, just didnt had the time.

Overall I am glad this didnt affect your experience that much, thanks for playing!

I feel like the boucing wasnt predicting enough, but even so the game was fun to play, nice job!
