For only a few hours of work, it's a pretty cool concept and I can see a lot of potential for it becoming a full experience. I liked how jumping and rail grinding felt and I think it's a good base for a full game!

Good little game! It was quite tricky at times but it did make me want to get as far as I could. A few recommendations I have would be to maybe add some music to make it a little less awkward when playing for a while, maybe add in some more obstacle types to keep things fresh, and while the color scheme is nice, it is a little strenuous on the eyes after a while. Overall, I had fun with this one!

Enjoyable little game! Figuring out the right path to get around enemies was pretty fun, although it would benefit slightly from a bit faster of a respawn time since I died quite a bit while playing. I thought the beginning cutscene was pretty cute and would have loved to see it continued a little at the end. I enjoyed the game quite a bit and wish you luck in the jam!

Great game! I think there was a decent amount of enemy variety for the time given, especially the one that blocks bullets, which increased the difficulty by quite a bit. I did, however, find that running back and forth while shooting constantly dealt with most of the enemies pretty easily, so maybe reducing the shooting speed or the size of the bullets/changing up enemy move patterns might help to alleviate that issue. I also liked the "daring" pop-up when enemies got close, and I think it would be neat to give the player a bonus of some sort when they pull it off. Overall, a pretty fun and engaging game.

Great work, guys! I liked the mechanic of doble-tapping the spacebar with different speeds to jump higher, especially in the later parts of the level. The archers were also a nice challenge. The controls were the only issue I had with the game, as it takes a bit too long for the dog to start moving, making it feel a bit like ice physics, so landing and positioning for a jump were a bit frustrating. Overall, you all made a great game!

Thanks so much! I actually had someone else compare it to FEZ as well even though I've never played it myself. My main inspiration for the gameplay mechanics was Super Paper Mario, but I'll definitely have to check out FEZ now.

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it! Next time I'm definitely going to make it a toggle, since that's what I wanted originally but I didn't have enough time to figure it out. In terms of having trouble behind walls, I was thinking of either increasing the radius of the coin collecting or adding some kind of silhouette feature to be able to determine your position behind the wall. Your feedback is much appreciated :)

Thanks a bunch! I had a lot of fun with the dimensional shift mechanic, so I do plan to add onto this more later (hence the Level 1-1). Glad you enjoyed, and I plan to try out your submission later today.! Best of luck!
