What are the game ideas that you always have in mind? Or maybe what kind of games do you want to see?

As a game developer, I really want to know, it doesn’t need to be a well thought-detailed idea, it can just be a word.

I hope this is a right place to ask a question.

I have financial problems, and I can’t afford the fee to upload the game to steam but I really want to, so I want to find a game publisher. Is there any help on publishing on steam or game publishers?

I have finished my game, this is the demo:

http://cuteray.itch.io/mushys-adventure-prototype/

hmm

I just made a game launcher for my game and for my future games. I have no idea will this be a great idea.

the launcher will download latest version of game when you don't have a copy of the game

or auto update the game if you have an older version.

Then if you have a game copy and it's the latest version, it will run the game.

Anyone for feedbacks or suggestions? I don't know doing this is a good idea or not.

Hey! I’ve implement your ideas in my latest update of the game! Thank you again for your feedback in the stream.

It should be fixed now, try it!

Use http://trello.com/to manage what features/stuff you have to do, what you have done/doing. It is a website for progress management and very cool!

This is actually cool if you didnt use any phsics engine(like unity or unreal).

Make a bouncy platformer :D

It can actually be a multiplayer game instead of two player on one computer, also if it gets a graphics update and add more game mode, It will actually be great

I bet you can make a full steam release on this game :D

Thanks for commenting!

Thankyou for pointing out that how the challange of the game is yourself, and it only took half an hour to finish ten level! These information could be useful when I am making a trailer or just updating the description.

In the notes, the bugs is already known! Thanks for pointing out and It will be fix in the next update!

:D Yes

Thankyou! <3

No

I think the community needs this where content creator that will play indiegames can have people know about them. Indie game devs (including me needs them!)

Any content creator here? I would love it if there are some.

<3 Thanks for reading

I very like this game, great job!

Pros:

- Simple menu.

- Sound effect and bgm is great.

- I love low poly dogs and trees myself

Cons

- could have more graphics improvement. For example, you can download the Post proccessing stack packet and try use some effects on the graphics.

Rating: 8/10

I will fix it with the update, It should be fixed in some day in 29th Jan - 5th February.

the best 2 is unreal and unity

What is game jams that can do that? Any names? I actually want to try one day!

Hey, I saw this game from Twitter :D

Here are the pros and cons.

Pros:

- Simple.

- can play in boring times.

- In the start, the king part can teach you how to open the door.

Cons

- graphics. I think that this is the game’s style, but if there are some shadings, it would be cool.

- I thought if you touch the arrow you die. I don’t know I have to touch the arrows to score. That part was kinda confusing.

Conclusion

Simple game for boring times! Not a big game, so I am going to give out a 8/10

Game jams, are events that will required you to finish a game in a just a week or a month. The host will give you the topic on the game only when at the first day of the jam. Then after every submitted it in the required time, they will vote for the winner.

I would love to participate a game jam, but I don’t have time.

I propose an idea of competitions, that just required you to submit before the deadline, with no topic. You could submit any game that you have work on. For example, the event will have a deadline before 1st of February 12AM, then if I want to join the event, I submit my game the I worked for a really long time. The event can just have the same voting mechanic in game jams.

The pros of this:

- Can let people have a way to share their game that they’ve worked on it for a long time

-They don’t need few days spare out just to make a game.

-They can make high quality games, as in game jam there might not be enough time for making the game.

Please comment and consider this idea <3

unity unreal game maker and Godot. I don’t know much game engines.

Cool game!

Pros

- Good graphics! Like the graphics A LOT

- There are a tutorial level, player can know the mechanics

- random level generation or seed generation, so player can share levels with friends or never feel bored because there are millions of levels

- VERY SATISFYING! The chain effect and the camera shake is very nice

- simple!

- sound effect wow.

Cons

- The tutorial level needs some arrows pointing at what the player should do in the tutorial, so the player won’t get lost. I stucked in tutorial 3-4 for quite a bit.

- more platforms maybe? This is perfect for an iPhone or Android app!

Conclusion

A simple game that you just can’t stop playing. 9.5/10

I have like 2 anti virus and got no issue, you just have to trust itch.io and press continue to website button.

Maybe I am wrong, maybe try go on YouTube and search antivirus downloading itch

I think the problem is vsyncing. I think I accidentally turned off vsync and when it lags it would go through colliders... Sorry for getting stuck. I would fix that in the next update.

If you want to enchance the adventure aspect, how do you want me to do it? I would love a feedback <3

I don’t have a linux, I might accidentally just put one file in the zip. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Thank you for commenting!

-Press F11 will actually toggle window mode! I should make that clearer in the game.

-I should enable vsync. I think I accidentally disabled it?

-I would need to fix the escape button bug. Sorry for the inconvienient!

-For “When clicking another window on my second monitor the monitors would both disconnect/reconnect. It seems something isn't being handled right here.”, I don’t really get why or is it related to the game, because I personally don’t have two monitors. I might not be able to fix it.

-For the special cooldown bar, I will need to add it.

Thank you for the feedback! <3

Hey :D Nice to meet you guys

I love coding and making games. I am making this mushroom game with a story line! I make games that people can play when they are bored!

I would love feedback and comments from my game. I hope someone can find my game enjoyable!

I've played your game and commented!

Hello. This is a very good game.

Pros

- I like the art style a lot.

- You can mute the bgm, really cool.

- Very good stories.

- The start credit is interesting!

- very logical.

-This is a browser game.

- good music and sound fx

Cons

- Too much words, people might not play this for a lot.

- Only pressing buttons, I would recommend have some more mechanics, like if you chop wood, you can click on the log instead of just pressing a button.

conclusion

This is a great great game! 8/10. Good job. Im looking forward to you future games.

P.S. I have watched the video! I marked down every feedback from you, and I will try and improve the game!

Thank you so much, like a lot!

This will help the game so much. I did not expext someone stream it.

Thx again!

I thought of an other idea of doing this but this looks like more optimistic, thanks!
