The story is pretty straighforward and enjoyable

And the artstyle is very cute and clean !

It was captivating. I wish there were more about the story, but it’s incredible that in less than 48 hours, the gameplay feels this complete. Great job!

The game is so satisfying to play. And the artwork is very cute

The art style is so cute. The game overall reminded me of games I played on those flash game sites. It kind of makes me feel nostalgic.

I was very intrigued about what Alex was hiding. I love stories where a mystery surrounds a figure who is essential to the main character. The atmosphere is good. The window XP aesthetic is very polished. I enjoyed it! (unfortunately i needed the walkthroughs every two minutes haha )

Thank you I'm glad you liked the concept !

The pixel art is neat !I like the artstyle. I liked the "lonely night as a keeper of a lighthouse" concept

The concept is fun and it fits the theme  !

The artstyle is also cute and gives children's book vibe as said val

I really like the gameplay

(I was so bad to find the ingredients for no reason. )

Thank you !

i have to admit the plot was quite intriguing!( With the messages we got)

("Bad guy with a french accent" is the most accurate name ever given for a character )

Thank you !

I got fired...

joke aside Actually it was fun game. I liked the gameplay with the 7 papers quest

I like escape games so i really liked the concept. The idea of the endless loop is good  it's giving psychological horror.  It reminded me of 2000s flash game. Nice job!

Great game made under two days ! The parallax is very neat and i liked the little jumpscare in the game over screen

Thanks I'm glad you liked the game mechanic !

I wanted to reach people with this story, so I’m really glad it resonated with you. Your support means a lot, and I hope you’ll enjoy what comes next! (Very nice Blade pp btw)

You're welcome! The game's aesthetic  goes really well with Chinese writing. I never would have imagined seeing my game in another language. Thank you so much for your hard work on the translation and for sharing it on Bilibili! Every bit of publicity counts, and your support is truly appreciated.

Thanks again for bringing "Mr. Adrian's mansion is creepy" to a wider audience ! Hope you’ll enjoy any future projects I work on!

Thank you for playing I'm glad you felt the story

Thank you so much! I’m really happy you loved the game and appreciate the vibe.  It’s awesome that you want to translate it into Chinese! Yes, you can definitely do that ! There is no problems. Thanks again !

The storytelling is so good

Thank you for playing, I’m glad you enjoyed it! I ended up putting it in the category , haha!

Thank you so much for your comment. I’m really happy that you truly focused on the story and tried to understand the subtleties of their relationship because that was my main goal, and every detail was important.

In reality, that’s exactly it. Adrian and Jules were connected and complemented each other. In the living room memory, we understand that the two are also alike because they are shaped by their fathers' expectations (attitude, performance). But Jules distanced himself because he felt overwhelmed by Adrian and everything he was going through. Adrian is intense and seems emotionless, but he tried to reach out every time to Jules (phone calls, letters). Adrian had a dark side he hid from others but Jules could see it (it’s represented by Adrian’s shadow—thin, vulnerable with large, frightened white eyes).

At the graduation ceremony, their paths will diverge. Adrian, forced by his father, and Jules, freed by his mother. Adrian asked him to read the last letter he wrote to him before the end of the summer, but Jules ignored it and didn’t read it in time, and Adrian died in the summer break (before the life his father had planned for him could begin). Whether it was suicide or an accident is unclear, but Jules knows the truth, and that’s why he’s consumed by guilt, even after all these years. That’s why Adrian says that without Jules, he would feel forgotten because he (the real him) exists through Jules's guilt and feelings. In the final ending, 'Heartless,' Adrian tells him that despite everything Jules might have tried, he wins because even after all these years, he still lives somewhere, and he has taken Jules’ heart, so no one else can ever have it.

At first, I wanted to put it in the BL category because of the subtext in the story, but I wasn’t sure if I met the expected criteria for the contest. But I just found out I can edit the page (I thought it was locked until the end of the ratings), so I’ve now placed it in that category haha Thanks again I'm happy you enjoyed !!

I'm glad you liked it Thanks for commenting !

Thank you !!

Thanks to your comment, I realized that I forgot to save the page when I added the patched version of the game. Everything should be okay now ! There are Mac, Linux, and Windows versions.

Thank you so much for your comment! I really appreciate it, especially since I haven't had much feedback yet and wasn’t sure if the game was being enjoyed. Looking forward to hearing your full thoughts when you're ready!

This is the kind of comment i love to read.  I aimed to create this atmosphere so I'm glad you noticed this detail.

Thank you for playing so much!!

Hi,  there is this tutorial if it can help : How to Download and Install the game - General & Questions - itch.io. And you must click on "Dreamsmadeofobsession.exe" when the files are extracted.

It's a code written in one of the cards. I put the walkthrough in the main menu if you need to !

Thanks for playing again !!

Thank you ! I'm really glad to hear that you enjoyed the game and that you connected with the themes. Knowing that your first video is on one of my games makes me really happy. Keep up the good work!
