Spoilers :

Well, this update really frustrated me...

Not because of its content, but because I didn't see the time spent playing it! It's so interesting and exciting to read! It's really easy to immerse yourself in the universe, which is well fleshed out.

I really like the character of Tyr. I think he's my second favorite character. I really like the fact that he seems to have as many qualities as flaws. I like this kind of pragmatic character you can't quite figure out. Does he have good intentions? Does he really feel responsible for our coming here? Is he lying to us all the time? Personally, I'm convinced that deep down he's a good person, but unfortunately his project is too dangerous for my taste, and I'm afraid he'll never admit it... Nor does he seem blameless in his treatment of Marrowyn.

He clearly seems to have lied about certain moments in his past. I'm curious to find out what he's hiding. I have the impression that he has avoided talking about certain difficult moments in his life. And I don't think he's ever confided in anyone.

Unfortunately, given the end of our discussion, he's not likely to tell us the whole truth about his past for a long time, I think, ahah.

In any case, I hope we can help him, especially in his relationship with Marrowyn. But I don't think there's much we can do for him. After all, it's already complicated enough for us and our guardians. I hope things turn out better for him, but unfortunately I think he's the kind of character who comes to a tragic end.

Amazing work!

I highly recommend “Roads Yet Traveled”. I like a lot of FVNs but this one is definitely my favorite.

I'm clearly impressed by all your hard work and effort. I sincerely admire your perfectionism. Thank you for all of this ! I hope you got some rest from time to time. You fully deserve it.

Hanok's Sprites ! Thank you !

Each time, I think that the next update can't possibly be any better than the last, and each time, the author manages to prove me wrong. I'm enjoying every moment of the game !

I like the captain, especially the fact that she seems quite cautious and suspicious of Tyr's inventions. It's good to show a character who is both thoughtful and dynamic.
That said, I'm still a bit wary of her. I see a manipulative side to her that hides its game and her behaviour can be a little too borderline for my liking. What's more, the fact that she's so obsessed with work is certainly one of the reasons why the station seems so dull and insipid. I'm waiting to see a bit more of her before going any further in my judgement.

Frankly, I'm pleasantly surprised that the main character discovers that Tyr has brought him here so early in the game.
Speaking of him, I'm curious to see his next interactions with the main character. I'm having a bit of trouble getting a handle on him. On the one hand, you can feel sorry for him given the way he was humiliated during the meeting. What's more, he tries to mitigate his huge mistake by improving the main character's living conditions.
On the other hand, he's quite unsympathetic at times, especially towards the main character. His intention to cross the boundaries of nature and perhaps even of the divine, while not caring about the consequences, is also quite frightening and disturbing.

Now that he's confessed the truth, will he act as usual and continue to show no remorse? Or, on the contrary, will he try to change his attitude and be less cold? I doubt the latter, given his behaviour so far, but I want to believe it. What's for sure is that I'm curious to see how this character develops.

Otherwise, Marruk still touches me just as much. His motivational speech was brilliant. Maybe a bit exaggerated at times, but understandable given the situation. If he carries on like this, I think he'll succeed in making me shed a tear! I'm going to continue along the roads of Marrow and Rhoun shortly. They deserve it too.

Anyway, thank you for this game!
(Sorry for the long comment, but I really wanted to do it)

Morally he will post the update this weekend on his Patreon. Check out his Twitter post if you want to be sure.

Well, I've set him free. I don't mind not having that scene, but I just hope it won't handicap my relationship with Cicero too much, who is my favourite character with Alastor so far.

Thanks for your reply!

Hi, I'd like to know how to trigger the scene with Cicero on the beach. I feel like I've been on the beach at all possible hours and still nothing happens.

Thanks in advance!

As usual, I really enjoyed the update, especially the moments with Marruk which particularly caught my attention.

I found it surprising that the crew decided to modify the MC's phone without being told. After all, it's one of the only earthly objects he still has on him. And I think Tyr and Marrow could have at least asked his opinion before changing it. Thus, I suspect them of having installed a kind of camera on it which would allow them to constantly monitor the MC, to analyze his reactions when he is alone, etc... I must admit that I am very suspicious of this modification of the phone. ^^

That said, it seems to please the MC. I just hope for him that he won't regret the old version of his phone.

I really appreciate the addition of the jukebox. I particularly like "Orbit" which I consider to be the main theme of the game.

The meeting with the captain promises to be interesting to say the least. I look forward to the next update!

I really like the fact that Fraser and Skjold each have a manichean view and that they may have more in common than they think.
I'm curious to see how the plot develops.
Personally, I just hope the romance doesn't happen too quickly. It would be more realistic if the MC tried to find his place in this new world first, understand their different cultures, etc.

The bit where the MC stares at Fraser's backside as they are being chased bothered me a bit in this regard.
That said, this first version is promising for the future!

(I'd rather warn you, my review contains spoilers, just in case).
Well, Marruk was my favorite character before this update and... he is even more so! I really liked that he quickly understood that the MC wasn't feeling well. The little outing with him was comforting because I personally felt bad for the MC since the end of day 7. It's actually quite ironic that he disobeyed Marrowyn's orders, him being so adamant about rules and such. Obviously, Marruk isn't perfect (thankfully) and I understand that he can be annoying at times, but he's proven in this update that he cares about the well-being of the MC (at least, when you choose his path). I enjoy every interaction with him, so thank you for this character.

I assume that at some point we will have a romantic relationship with one of the characters, given the keywords in the game description. If that is indeed the case, it's refreshing not to have an MC salivating over the character in his route from the first few days. I find it easier to realise the seriousness of the situation the MC is in, and easier to sympathise with him. In my opinion, this is quite rare in visual novels of this type, so I wanted to point it out.
Sorry for my English and thank you very much for this game!

Your idea is interesting but I hope it won't happen because my poor heart wouldn't support it haha.

So, I have to say that my favourite character is Maruk. What I like the most about this kind of character is that you can be sure that you won't have any bad surprises with them. If they have something bad to tell us, they will tell us straight away, unlike some characters who might lie or hide the truth. That's the advantage of being straight forward and direct I guess. I kind of relate to the fact that he's paranoid about security. I mean, the MC is an alien who literally comes out of nowhere. I can totally understand him being on guard. He probably lacked empathy but I don't think that's his intention. Moreover, he's not helped by the conditions (Seriously, having to stay in the same room all the time even to sleep is not very nice of the team when he's the one who retrieved the MC while not making a scratch on his memory. He did his job well and he's being punished. Poor Guy.

As a previous comment said, I think the doctor will become an antagonist. He made a good first impression on me but the longer the game went on the less confidence I had in him. The fact that he always keeps a blank stare is also quite creepy. He looks like the kind of person who will do anything to sacrifice lives for science with an "end justifies the means" logic. I wonder what role the captain will play. Is she his accomplice, his boss or does she have nothing to do with him? I'm very curious to see her and to make my opinion on her.

As for the pace, I personally don't mind it. I played the game a couple of weeks ago so my memories aren't very fresh but I don't think I remember being bored at any point.

Amazing update ! You can be proud of your work.

I don't know if my question can be a spoiler because i guess that we will meet his parents at some point but what's the species of the MC before his transition ? Sorry for my bad English. (Nothing to see but thanks for regularly updating us on the status of the game. That's always a pleasure to read them).

You're welcome !

I'm glad that we still have sometime before importants choices of life and death. I really like your writing about chill conversations. They are enjoyable to see (especially with Xzav and Zach eheh)

To be honest, i wanted give a feedback to one or two others games previously but i never dared to do this. I feared that my feedback would be useless or incomprehensible but you take the time to respond to all the comments so i think that was a good push for me to dare to make one ! (sorry again for the mistakes).

First, I loved the reference to Konosuba ! In view of your notes, i was expected to see horror elements early but i was pleasantly surprised to don't see this yet(except for the introduction scene) and that's nice for me that you take your time to introduce the characters without going too fast in the horror elements.

(Also, i love rewatch the first conversation between Xzav and Varion idk why but i think just that the reactions of Xzav are really enjoying to see.) Btw, like said Offlinewolf, the characters change expression mid-dialogue adds value to this game and helps to make it unique according to me. That's really a good idea that you had here !

I'm looking forward for the next update ! But, obviously, take your time ! (sorry for my mistakes, that's my first feeback in a foreign language.)
