Just watched your youtube video and had to come look at this. Amazing to add some juice to the game.

–Having a minor issue, where the squash is looping and not stopping. But I think thats my error– It was my error. I was calling “Start” on every frame…

my brain… Love the game. but wow

Love the game. But I feel really bad having to excile creatures :( 10/10

Just wondering how everyone’s submissions are going.

Glad I’m not the only one that noticed this :/ its a bit rediculous

Fun little game. Although I feel like in the last tutoral level I missed something important lol…

Good luck :) game jam’s are an amazing way to learn programing. Jame Gam was my first Game Jam too.

Cant wait to see what you develop

wow this is a beautiful skeleton.

I’ve been working on a 4 way skeleton sprite, and needed some inspiration for sideways walking. I kind of which I’d come across this first haha

Looks really good. I’ll be having a play with this for my own games :) thank you very much

fun little game. Personally, I'd flip the controls, so you click to make the wheel rotate. but thats just personal preference

Thanks for playing. Glad you enjoyed it.

30+ seconds for a slime to spawn? I'll have to look into that. its supposed to cap at 10 seconds, and thats only at the first few slimes of the round to give you chance to power up.

Thanks :) appreciate it :)

Thank you :) I'm really please with it for my first ever completed project. Looking forward to the results of the Jam

Thank you very much :) I appreciate it

Hi Copecola

Thanks for the feedback. TBH I do agree it gets repetative fast. if I develop the game further, I will make sure to mix up the game play to fix that.

This is great. Saved me so much time manually making normal maps for my pixel art game :)

really nice work. Made my cookie clicker RSI play up... but darn good game.

the "completly normal card" is the best option. trust me ;)

Just watched your VOD, and when you got to my game (Junior Alchamist) I was screaming at my screen to click the buttons on the left to use the potions

Thanks for playing :)

Yeh If I was developing the game further, I'd add another type of game play to break it up a bit and make it less repetative. Maybe for a future project :)

50 was the max arrow speed deliberatly, at that speed, the archer shoots arrows ever 1/2 second unless you have the tired or slow effects. Thats another thing I'd like to work on improving in a future release, to make the max speed 100.

Hi Mew,

Thanks for the feedback.
Looking back, I can see how the slimes could be distracting during the tutorial. To be honest, it was a last minute addition. At some point I'd like to go back and improve the tutorial, and add more variety to the gameplay.

Well spotted. Thank you.

Turns out my change triggered an error that caused the potion spawn timer to go wild... Instead of spawning every 5 seconds, it was trying to spawn every 5 hours...

Fixed it anyway :) thanks again

So it only took a couple of hours to implement. I've now added this to the game. Thanks for the idea :)

Thanks for playing. That's a pretty good idea. It would need to be a late game item, but could be fun...

this is a lovely game. I love it :)

Thanks for playing. Glad you enjoyed the game so far.
The WASD can be remapped in the settings menu :)

If I'd had a bit more time to develop the game before submitting it to the game jam, I'd have put a better tutorial in for the controls. But that's something I can work on in the future if I choose to develop the game further.

Bragging rights. And a really positive feeling

A lot of people have said the same about the drawing mechanic. If we had more time, or were to do it again, I think we'd make it a bit clearer. but time was against us.

Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed it :)

I'll second what @NotRustyBot said, working as a team is amazing, and these guys were one of the best teams I've ever worked with

Hi, if you need a play tester still I'm happy to help out.

I do a little bit of programming too, so I'm happy to help debug, but don't feel I'm good enough for a full game yet
