I ended up pulling out of the jam, but i had a similair idea of reversing the roles of the end pole and the player being able to move together or something, and this is a great interpetation of it! I love this!

thanks for the feedback! glad you liked the idea, and yeah didn't think of the controls too much, might expand on this idea later

thanks for the feedback! yeah the controls aren't great but i'm satisfied with what i did for 10 hours

thanks! i'm aware of it's very unfinished and broken state, and i've addressed that on the game page aswell, i've made it in ~10 hours and so in the submission hours i kind of changed the numbers for the rocket engine's power gain and usage which made it too easy and it was too late for me to change it back as WebGL builds took a while, as it does.

Not sure if this is a complaint or not, but yeah i froze the movement on the x axis to cause less issues which why it rotates like crazy, i found it to be kind of a funny thing about it

thanks for the feedback! Glad you liked it

thanks for the feedback! I've mentioned that in the game page but yes i'm aware of the game's inbalance in the jam version, i did some last number switching when i was uploading because i was scared it would be too hard for people and ended up making it wayy too easy.
if you wanna try and play the postjam version, i've uploaded a fixed one on github: https://github.com/Offlical/gmtk-2021/releases/tag/v0.1-alpha-postjam

thanks for the feedback! and yes i'm aware of it's very unfinished state, didn't have a lot of time to spice up the gameplay and i messed up the numbers last second when uploading. thanks for playing!

I assume you downloaded the windows version, that version has an issue where i forgot to multiply everything by delta time so if your computer moves really fast it's almost impossible to make it. WebGL has that issue fixed though, but still is inbalanced.

yeah the physics of that didn't really go too well since i stopped the x axis movement, but it kinda made it somewhat funny so i just kept it, glad you liked the idea!

thanks for the positive feedback! and yes i'm very aware of the big amount of things missing with the game, i lost motivation to work on this game for quite a while during the jam and didn't end up making those changes

wasn't my intention, but yeah i can see why would it seem like flappy bird

hm, I could but i dont have any idea how to create good music, and i'm not really thinking of updating the game, anyway thanks for your feedback!

Not bad at all, very fun game and a nice take on the idea of traditional pokemon, Solid entry!

yeah, i wished i did add music, but i'm just really terrible with making my own music, glad you enjoyed it either way!

thanks!

Can't disagree on that one, again thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed playing it, i'll make sure to check your game later!

Thanks for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed it, I know about the issues with the variety of the gameplay, it's just that i couldn't really bother myself with adding more variety onto the gameplay, and didn't really bother finishing the polish on some of the end parts and increasing the amount of coins, but most likely i wouldn't be updating it any more since if people really wanna play, they can just play the better original game :p

Thanks for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed it

Thanks for the feedback!

Glad you enjoyed playing it! That's usually the way i go with game jams, rather have a short but well made game than a mediocre game but a lot of content

Thanks for the feedback! Glad to know you enjoyed the puzzles and the game

I see, fair enough!

Thanks for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed playing it :)

Solid game! even the game is short i found that reseting to the first level on death mechanic was a bit too harsh in my opinion for a jam game and on top of that you had a timer.. but nethertheless, great game!

Not bad, I liked it, only things i'd change is maybe the pacing of it to make it a little harder, and the sound effect for when you pass a note properly, i've found it kind of annoying personally.

Nice game, but really difficult in my opinion, the level pacing was too fast for me from one level to another, even just the 2nd level proved to be really difficult i feel like you should have done more playtesting for the game, i'm sorry but the jump sound effect is straight up irritating to hear.. not bad for a first game!
If you want to get easy sound effects, i recommend using Bfxr, it's a resource i've been using for sound effects and its been a blessing to me, especially with game jams

Nice take on flappy bird, took me a second to realize where was the gravity changing mechanic, but definitely fun as a normal flappy bird game, Definitely can make this to an addicting mobile game with more additions to the concept, Solid game!

Took me a second to realize it was a 2048 game, for a game you made in c++ and in under a day, this is definitely a great game for that time and limitation of not using a normal game engine, Nice work! just sound effects would be nice.

Nice game, story had me chuckle at times, but i think the keybind limit really did limited this game, but i guess it's not like you could have done anything, one suggestion i'd say is that you would have option of words to choose from and you can choose one by pressing specific numbers, wouldve made the game a bit easier, but it's still a fun little game, Solid entry!

Glad you enjoyed the mechanic and the levels!

Thanks for the feedback! I would have added more levels but i was busy for the last 2 days so i didn't end up doing that at the end

glad you liked the mechanic!

Solid game! Seen those puzzles before and always been horrible at them, the randomizer really added a nice twist, easily could be an addictive mobile game, took me 90 moves to just beat a 3x3... but Great entry!

I played this before and completely forgot to rate!

This game is a great puzzle game! I've had my fun playing it, level design was really clever and never too fast with introducing new concepts and quite challenging too, had to scratch my head a bit on some levels, Definitely one of the better ones in the jam

I would try but i can't understand how to run this on windows...

I'm gonna be honest, i have no idea what is going on, i've just pressed random buttons and didn't quite understand what each of them does, even while looking at the game page at the same time i've stayed really confused.. This could be a cool concept, but a tutorial is really needed here..

Glad you enjoyed the mechanic!
