Glad you've been enjoying it! While I don't mind consuming stuff that's a little rougher at times, I've always been more comfortable with keeping things lighthearted in my own works.

You mean post char-gen? I don't currently have anything lined up for that, but there's a lot of game development left to go.

Unfortunately saving in WebGL for more than a single session hasn't worked on most browsers in years (maybe all browsers).

Pregnancy is future content which I'll be working on fairly soon.

Some acts are more 'foreplay' focused and some are more 'finisher' focused. Foreplay actions are better at the start and worse at the end, and vice-versa for finishers. If you've gone over, try some lighter actions.

Sorry, must've missed a click when I was saving the update.

Eventually, although I don't plan to do the Early Access thing.

This is likely due to the same bug derg reported, due to an issue with Harian portraits. The fix will be in v0.22.0.

Haven't noticed this issue myself, are you playing the online version or the Windows version? If it's the online one, every browser has its own implementation of saving WebGL data and I can't rule out that one would just break. (None of them work fully these days to my knowledge.)

I believe I've found the issue, it seems to have been an issue with feminine Harian portrait components. Thanks for the report!

(1 edit)

The alley encounter is on Victorious after doing the debrief for the ship/bank heist. If you played the athletes scene in an old version before the CG was added, it's possible that the gallery flag was never set, I'll look into adding a check for that in my savegame compatibility code. Office replays don't set any flags. As for the XO, there aren't currently any scenes unlocking their nude gallery as they only get partially stripped in each of their current scenes, might change that.

Edit: There may be an issue with the flag being checked for both the alley scene and the local shop, I'll make some changes there.

Thanks for your interest in the game! To answer what I can:

  • You can fail a duty mission but it has no consequences beyond wasting your time. Failing a story-required duty mission will still progress the story.
  • Pregnancy will be one of the features in the 'second wave' of functionality I'll get to after the first four factions are in a decent state. There will need to be ship policies implemented, an upgraded medbay (probably as part of larger ship tiers), and there will not be any children on the ship itself. At most kids might appear in an epilogue scene, as having kids at all in a porn game is a risky move.
  • I would like to eventually have every trait unlock at least one special scene or scene variant, and some already do, but this may be a thing where I go back after most of the game's been done and add more options to existing scenes, as I don't want to spend a month on a scene at this point in development.
  • The XO scene bug has already been fixed in the patron version and will come to the public soon.
  • I'll take a look at more req trade options.
  • None of the traits are entirely harmful but they're not all balanced to be the same.
  • Stats are intended to be random, but if they're getting unusable traits that's a bug (that one might have gotten lost on my to-do list at some point).
  • I'll likely be adding more sources of sex xp in the future.
  • A goal of the game is to encourage players to bounce around between systems regularly rather than just go to one, do that system to 100%, and then do the next one. I realize that causes some annoyance while the number of systems is still limited.
  • There's an insane number of pose combinations so it's possible that some aren't flagged right, though it may also be good to double check that the characters are in the correct relative pose positions.
  • I do intend to make CGs more obvious but I don't have a timeframe on it.
  • The combat's gotten a lot of complaints and I may end up redoing this system entirely at some point.

I have heard a bug report where if you save and load at some particular spot, it will give you double the assignments and so they end up not all filled, although I haven't been able to reproduce it myself.

None of the storylines are currently complete, if you hit the end of one plotline you're encouraged to travel around to other locations (or wait for the next update).

The XO scene works in my testing but I'll give it a closer look to see if there's a scenario where it might have issues.

The game is actually designed around rotating between different locations regularly, rather than simply sitting at one and finishing it before moving on. Save games are always compatible with new versions as well.

Two of the planned eight star systems are most of the way done, and there's two more at about 1%.

In the Figura system there are two locations, Watch Station and the Training Area, connected by a path line. The location you're not currently at (the Training Area) will have a checkbox to select to mark it as your destination.

Just to be clear, duty assignments are different than assigning crew to their bridge stations. If you are having issues with the duty assignments, feel free to swing by the discord if you get a chance and send me your save file, as I can't reproduce the issue here.

It does not, it is planned for the sequel Carnal Voyages however.

Perhaps a quarter to a third. The core foundational functionality is largely in but it still needs a lot of content. I expect development to continue for a few more years.

WebGL is the in-browser version, save games aren't expected to work there. 32/64 bit refers to your version of Windows, if you have a recent version you're probably on 64 bit (although 32 bit will work on either).

That's not yet available in the public version.

Unfortunately I don't have the time required to develop and test for additional platforms.

The Overseer persona can only be male or female, however the choices made during chargen make no assumptions about the player character's true form or preferences, for what that's worth.

Thanks, have this fixed for the next release.

Yes, browsers haven't saved WebGL files between sessions for a few years now.

It's done from the Crew Roster, and requires both XP and some resources to do.

Co-Parent: Slightly changes some dialogue options to indicate you've had kids together, for players who want to roleplay as a parent in a relationship.

Lover: The current relationship state which can change over the course of the game (some work has been done for this but it's not fully implemented yet). You can have a kid with someone you're in a Hate Fuck relationship with, if you want to roleplay a bitter divorcee.

The game starts off with a brief recap of events in the first game, and there's a codex that explains more of the background. But if there's still anything that's overly confusing to a new player I'd like to know, since it's hard for me to view it that way myself.

I'm afraid I don't have the time. Android's notoriously difficult to properly test due to the enormous range of devices it runs on.

Save games haven't worked in WebGL since a browser change a few years ago. As for Android/mobile use, I can't provide any particular support, it is what it is. The Windows version is the primary target build, WebGL should be considered as a demo.

For the most part only traits that apply % bonuses and the like are currently implemented.  As for crewmember requisitions, those can be managed at Watch Station.

Sorry, nope. Even if the browser keeps the data somewhere it's not gonna be compatible.

Afraid not, I don't have the development time for making or testing a mobile version.

Hmm, I've tested with both v0.2.0 saves and a fresh v0.3.0 game and it appears to trigger correctly here. If you were already in Harman on a 0.2 save you may need to leave the system then come back...if all else fails, if this was an old-version save, a fresh start is the most sure way to avoid any compatibility issues.

There's some known resolution issues on some screens which are fixed in the next release.

Patrons get updates twice a month, the public release is updated once a month, at a month delay.

Yes, the scaling issue with options and some other screens is a known issue and fixed in the next version. Playing in full screen may be required.

As far as WebGL loading issues go, can't help much there.

Public releases will be one month behind the Patreon versions, so v0.2.0 will be out for the public at the start of November.

v0.1.0 doesn't have any cheat functionality. Starting in v0.2.0, cheat codes are a patron feature.

Believe I've finally found and fixed the name issue, will be patched in the next patreon release this week.

As for highlighting, I have no quick fix for that, but adjusting the font size in Options may help.

New races like the Seeders will eventually be recruitable, but will not be playable as they aren't part of the DTF at the start of the game.

The pregnancy system is going to be a ways off, but the current plan is to tie it into a combination of ship policies and medical upgrades to expand the options.
