This game is great! The depth of systems/progression, the style/sound, the controls and responsiveness, everything is top-notch! I really enjoyed the balancing of building a well-producing farm vs not overwhelming yourself with enemies. There were several times as I was planting crops I was hating myself for making things so difficult, yet loving it at the same time. Tons of fun, great job!

This was great! I played it to the end and I love the way that you turned death into a game mechanic! The art style and presentation were top-notch and the level design did a great job of teaching the player where and how to use new mechanics without slapping a bunch of text on the screen. Not to mention it played great. Strong work!
I couldn't get the game to load at all on the submission page. I did play the non-submission link and I enjoyed the music and the style, but I had quite a bit of difficulty with some of the gameplay and presentation. The text scroll at the beginning was a bit overwhelming and was made worse by the font choice being very difficult to read. I liked the idea of trying to find or blend in with a specific character, but there was no real feedback on what was happening during the moment-to-moment gameplay which made it very difficult to understand exactly what was happening or what you needed to do. I think that there's potential in the concept but it needs a lot more hands-on testing by outside players to help develop the player communication/feedback. Still, there's some good art and atmosphere work here for such a short window, good job!
This was fun! I enjoyed the difficulty progression as it sped up the more dances that you got right. Overall it gave me an old-school Tony Hawk meet Snake vibe, which was fun to experience. Feedback-wise, there were no controls listed and the objective wasn't stated, so it took a little too long to figure out what I was supposed to do and I didn't even realize you could change your character's dance until a few rounds in when I accidentally clicked the mouse. But, once I figured it out I enjoyed the experience. Throw in a little more variety and some different levels and there could be some good potential here. Nice job!
This isn't misleading. It's asking you a question without giving you enough information to know the answer. That's not fun, it's terrible puzzle design. With good puzzles, you provide the player with all of the information that they need to make the right decision, then you mislead them in a subtle but obvious way. That's fun.
This was a fun little game! A piece of feedback though, choosing between "left" or "right" around the boulder was a little confusing as it wasn't clear if it was referring to the player's map orientation or the boat's orientation. If you do an update, I'd recommend changing it to "East" or "West" to prevent confusion. Thanks for sharing, it was fun to play!
This was a lot of fun! Great atmosphere and it nails the classic survival horror vibe. My only real complaint is the amount of backtracking. It would be nice if a few of the unlocked rooms reconnected back to other areas in unique ways, so you weren't always passing back through the living room area over and over. But, that's a minor complaint. Overall, a lot of fun and I can't wait to play the next part!
It's a simple game, but it has some good sound design, and atmosphere, and I didn't have any technical issues while playing. I appreciate that it doesn't try to do too much while still providing a full experience. Although, I would have liked just a little bit more from the ending, as it was pretty abrupt. A short but sweet experience that's worth playing. Nice work!
I had a lot of fun with this game! It was pretty simple but the jumpscares were effective and it played well. It reminded me a lot of First Winter in its presentation style and atmosphere (which is not a bad thing!). I'm excited to see what this becomes in the full game because there is a lot of potential here!
Really cool prototype! I think that you could build on this really well. Feedback wise, character selection was a little tedious. I kept having to move the camera back and forth to select different soldiers. It would be nice if the character selection could be mapped to a key (like 1-4) so that you could cycle through the team without having to go back and click on each individual one. This would also speed up the game and make them move like more of a team. Other than that, it had great atmosphere, was intuitive and played smooth. Good job! Looking forward to seeing what this becomes.
