lovely use of the theme, nice entry

I didn't make it very far because I couldn't get the hang of the wall jump, but from what I could get through it was good fun! I like the unconventional "die to make progress" mechanic a lot. Just need to work a bit on the wall jump. Solid entry though!

Interesting mode mechanic! Makes for some cool puzzles. I found the wall jump controls kind of awkward though.

Lovely little game. Smart use of the mechanic, and a remarkably competent platforming system. Well done. :)

This is so original that even though I understood that I had to die after the first time it happened, my brain still didn't let me since we're so used to trying not to die in platformers. That's really rare to find something that takes a common core mechanic of a genre and completely flips it on its head like that. The main character is a really cute little guy too, he's more than happy to die and be endlessly reborn, it's adorable.

This was great! I played it to the end and I love the way that you turned death into a game mechanic! The art style and presentation were top-notch and the level design did a great job of teaching the player where and how to use new mechanics without slapping a bunch of text on the screen. Not to mention it played great. Strong work!

This is a fun take on a platformer, gj!

Finished in 191 seconds! Fun and simple, I like that you use the torches as a guide for the out of bounds movement. Well done!

I've really enjoyed it, but in the middle of the jump after being on the wall, if you maintain the opposite direction in the air, it goes back, which is frustrating when the whole level is based on those jumps. I haven't managed to complete it after 10 frustrating minutes.

Well done! The controls and smooth and fun in both modes, and the puzzles and levels are well designed. I think there's definitely some potential here to turn this into a larger game!

One of my favorites so far. Never thought I could see dying as a mechanic in a game. Original and Aesthetic. Loved it!

It's pretty good for a vertical slice, the art is simple and nice, the platforming feels really nice and there tight jumps that really test the skill. I like it, good work!
