It seems like something that would be a small mechanic in a larger game. I forget what culture but ts a folklore to hold your breath in front of ghosts or monsters, I remember it being in a couple of games like Deadly Premonition.

Though I'm sure you could come up with spooky pasta SCP type game, Mosquito man! Moving to the last position you exhaled.

The game is pretty neat! There seems to be a chance for the enemy to miss when they attack. I assume it decreases with the tougher enemies? If not maybe you could have some sort of streak mechanic where not hitting a squid block after a certain amount gives you some bonus other than score like evasion. I could imagine a little multiplier that has different stages of shakyness for the feel. But thats just spit ballin. For your first game this is tightly made.

Also the floating crosshair was a nice touch too.

Hey hey people, started this project ages ago but dropped it due to life stuff.

Would like to get back into to it but I want an artist to help flush out the world with additional characters in an artstyle similar to what I have already commissioned.

At most maybe like six characters that compliment the two, three that are clean and militaristic and three that are makeshift and casual.

Can draw weapons, poses and expressions to the same or better quality.

Still working on some other stuff, won't be asking for anything until mid-october.

Will pay per character, drop your social thang with your work in the dooblie doo down below and I'll hit you up if your art lines up with what I'm looking for.

Thankies

A mystery in a small summer side tourist town! Your usual affair of clicking through images to see nice visuals and listen to good music.

Also there's a story about a murder, somewhere in there.
