Thanks so much for playing! It's so cool seeing a playthrough of it!

The scale of the project was too large for me to do on my own. Between art assets, coding, writing, editing, get sound effects, then beta testing, it would take me months to make the smallest amount of content. At that pace it would take me years to finish, and it just wasn't realistic

I can say pretty confidently the quotes aren't misplaced, and are intentional

Hopefully once the other characters introduced I'll be able to have more focus on dialogue. XVIII was particularly weird to write for because he's extremely passive and reserved, which means he doesn't often start conversations on his own. That should be less of an issue with the other characters.

Thanks so much. I probably won't be these on OGA just because I don't what their policy is on adult content but I haven't seen any on there myself. My main social media is FurAffinity which if you're not the best but it's where I'm most active and post the most. I also stream periodically on Picarto if you want to see the most up to date stuff I'm working on. It's occuring to me now I should probably grab a twitter or something. But yeah if you want to follow my art FA is the best place for that.

I also have a patreon where I'm currently trying out a thing where I do a different project each month to try and improve my productivity and time management. But anything I post there will get posted either here on Itch or FA (or both) later. My patreon is also in a transitionary period so as always with it I recommend only joining if you want to support me doing weird random shit.

Thanks so much for the edits and critique. I've made a bunch of updates now that should help with some of the flow issues. I've also corrected several of the typos. I've had a bit of a week though so I'll probably go through again once I have some fresh eyes and a clear head. This is definitely making me more aware of how repetitive my speech patterns are, I'll have to be more aware of that going forward.

The dialogue on the left of the inventory screen is purely there for beta testing. It won't be there in the final build, so for now it's safe to ignore. I'm also fairly sure I've fixed the text positioning bug, so that should be good in the next build. (That said, text overlap will still get a little weird depending on the character's name)

I don't currently have any other way to handle submissions unfortunately. Google is just the cleanest way for me to keep things organized, accessible and make sure anyone submitting knows exactly what they're getting into. I can look into setting up an alternative but my preference would be to stick with the google doc submissions. I have considered a Discord server to allow submissions, critiques and edits all in one place. I'm very hesitant about it though because I don't want to have to moderate the place. If I do create another place for submissions I'll be sure to post an announcement about it.

Thank you again for taking so much time to do these edits. This seriously helps a ton! I know I waffled a lot on the tense during the beginning especially but I'm gonna try to be more attentive about staying in present tense going forward.

I'm always very grateful for edits/corrections if people are willing to take the time. If you see any weird grammar or spelling issues just throw me a screenshot or the original line and a correction. I'll do my best to get them in! I do feel guilty accepting the free labor but I'm also not going to turn it down.

1. Maybe in the future. It's relatively easy for me to add new races at the moment. Though that'll be more difficult if I add some other features I've been considering.

2. That's largely because I haven't fleshed out more encounters. It's intentionally easy to level at the moment because the game is in beta and buggy. Saves might end up bugged, crashes and loss of progress are very possible. So you can just pick flowers freely if you don't mind taking a little time to grind.

3. Occultist isn't a starting class. Which is probably a little weird. Your starting 'class' is actually defined by your race. Your job and personality work like traits in Divinity or background in D&D. They provide unique dialogue options and that's about it.

4. I'll look into the comma issue. I can't afford a beta writer though so this is what people get. I'm doing all the art, writing and coding on my own so although I'd love to have thing really polished, but it's just not likely going to happen. I will always go through and edit things when they're brought to my attention though!

5. Sorry, that's one thing I likely won't change. Porn writing sucks. There's no good word for penis or vagina, period. No acceptions. Dick and Cock create a harsh consonant sound in the middle of a sentence which I find distracting. It just breaks the flow. Like you said, knob and manhood are just weird. Etc. So Length and Shaft are going to be the most common for me to use. But I'm not happy about any option tbh. \o/

6. You can count on it.

7. That's a bug I'll have fixed in the next build. I put in the wrong name in one tiny place and now that whole sequence is borked.

That function is very bare bones at the moment which is why there's a lack of responses. I'll be expanding it going forward but it likely won't be a mandatory feature to completely the game. I also plan to possibly highlight keywords during general conversations as hints about what you can/should ask.

Wererats are now under Lycanthrope, Dire Murin.

Fenna will definitely having some more scenes going forwards. She's actually one of the characters I have most solidified in my head.

I hope it works. If you notice any weird spikey damage continuing let me know. It may take a fight to update everything correctly if you import a save.

Needing to ask Fenna twice is intentional. Basically trying to tutorial/bait people into talking to NPCs multiple times because they might get extra/different information. It's not a huge thing now but going forward I'd like to have alternate dialogue more frequently.

Key dialogue is a mix up because I wasn't counting the price mark up. I'll get that sorted in the future.

I'll look into toning the goblins down in the future. They definitely shouldn't be 2 shotting you though. I'll see if I overlooked something when stating them.

The Fenna Squeeb thing was an oversight. I had it set up for when Fenna is helping Lyra but set the wrong variable. That'll be fixed in the next build

Yes. You can save progress at your room in the Last Drop or if you buy a room key for the Bloody Lip later

It's totally fine. I'll just go through and delete the error logs once I get the bugs sorted. I really appreciate the help. I knew this build was going to be pretty unstable when I posted it. These error logs have helped a ton. I think I've got all of them ironed out now. This battle one took a hot minute for me to figure out but I think I found the cause.

You can probably get away with just posting the last couple lines of the error logs going forward though. All the earlier stuff is just kind nonsense because of the way Renpy traces it's errors.

No worries, these are relatively minor bugs, just some syntax issues mostly. It's just hard to beta test all this alone. This collar bug has been a tough one to figure out though. I think I've figured out a solution this time around.

I've got the inventory screen bug fixed I think. I'll get a patch uploaded in the next day or two to fix that. The dialogue options was a bit of an oversight. The traits issue definitely isn't normal. During character creation if you canceled part way through it wasn't properly reset your selected traits. That should be fixed in the next patch. This also extended to some other aspects of character creation but should fix them as well.

I'll upload a linux version next build. I wont' be messing around with the itch client for a bit though.

I'll do my best. I do tend to over extend myself and get a little over my head. But I think it should be okay if I take it a thing a time. The race as a starting class in Dark Souls is a pretty good comparison actually. Any skills you don't start with here you'll be able to learn or find in other locations in the game. And the stat bonuses will be minor enough that you shouldn't have to grind your way up to compensate.

Kobolds have been getting a lot more attention lately and getting a pretty big niche fandom around them. So it kinda makes sense. I just didn't realize it had gotten this deep. You might be right that the cult following is just chopping at the bit for a kobold game.
