the app wouldn't let me install the game but figured it out on the website :) loved it, especially since I have schizoaffective disorder (amongst other things)  making me relate to some aspects of this story

Good job! (really like the aesthetics too!)

"no compatible downloads were found"? I'm on pc by the way. I will probably play the browser version but I just wanted you to know

Honestly I wasn't bothered about having no instructions, hints you can pick up on them quickly, but that might be because I like puzzles and escape games, and some don't give you instructions or guide either!

I perfectly knew I had to do something with the well but at that moment I was already about 55 minutes in and seing both the well and the door made me understand I might have to do everything all over again and wasn't feeling it at that time

That's why I'm saying storytelling is perfectly fine, we can pick up rather quickly there are some memories that don't mix with the others, you can pick up easily that you've missed the talisman, and so on, for me the not player friendly part really was the mechanics.

That's also why I'm still curious about this getting updated and you putting up new ideas, cause it still was a goode idea :)

thank you for taking the time to answer me!

this game can go very fast into morbid curiosity realm and that I think is what can elevate the game (more than jumpscares, but I'm just half immune to jumpscares).

Maybe show statistics on how many players watched until past specific moments? to "judge" who's keeping their humanity

There's something to work on I think

That's a concept that can really go far and be way more unsettling (I know it's just the beginning)

(1 edit)

I got 2 endings (2nd and 3rd) and I will not search for the first or any other if there is more to find :| saddly the game was not it for me... But I get what you did with the design and story telling (and that is actually very good)

But it was so tedious and the character was so slow that I ended up not enjoying it ;-;

Sorry

More on my feedback:

- I really don't think it's bad, not at all. Jumpscares didn't get me at all but I'm really hard to get so don't take that as a bad sign + I felt like they served a purpose (and that's always a +)

- It took me a while to understand how opening drawers work (I kept on being stuck on a drawer) but once I figured it out it was fine, I don't think it's an issue

- However I think you can work on the pace: maybe working on how fast/slow the character is could help (it's perfectly fine that running isn't possible imo)

- Is it possible to get the option for adapting mouse sensitivity? I think that'd help a lot (like a LOT) even if it's a little bit

- Felt a bit claustrophobic with having such a short fov but maybe that was intentional?

Just most importantly: pace, mouse sensitivity, imo

I really like the storytelling though, and I'd be curious to see more games from you! Hope that'll help, I'm still glad I tried it, sorry I might sound rude ;-;

I'll try to test out the updates if you take the time to publish them, I'll keep an eye out

It's not bad but it just didn't work on me :|

Don't take it personally, jumpscares didn't work but I tend to not react to jumpscares (easily) so just ignore that I didn't get got

The ambiance didn't work for me (didn't work on me but yet again, just ignore that maybe) either but has potential, the thing  to me is that the rythm has to get some touch ups:

> I do understand that our guy doesn't need to run since it's more of an IRL vibe, but he is very very slow (same as the dialogues)

It would have been great to be able to hide under the bed! Still got both the endings though (pretty realistic ones, fits the vibe you were going for!) :)

I reiterate I don't think it's bad at all, but since it didn't work on me I can't say it's good-good, it might just be me.

okay thank you so much! Will give it another try for sure!

(1 edit)

I liked it! Not sure if I've done everything? I will avoid spoilers anyway :)

Ran perfectly!

EDIT: definitely NOT done with it, did not expect that many endings, love it

I love the idea of mixing together the Backrooms and the same setup as Exit 8

I do not understand the green vs red number? But I played it during an insomnia so that might just be me

I wish there was an option to lower the ambiant noise without making it harder to hear anomalies, it was giving me a headache so I had to stop ;-;

I'll be waiting for the full release!

thanks for your work! Can I ask for the text to stay a little bit longer? I didn't have the time to read some of it cause it was going away so fast :(

love the idea, very well made as well!

Love it!

Making us spawn under a table is a sneaky move

good one! I wish it was longer ;-;

loved it, thank you for this creation <3 (no bugs to report, french translation perfectly fine!)

I'll stick around to test those updates then!

I forgot to say something:

I'm French and can help with interface translation, because  some things are so wrong it's funny ( please don't take it the wrong way, it's just really funny 😭)

Hi! I played the game with several people as someone who try every anomaly game I can find :)

I think it is a good game with great potential! So congrats on that

But I need to report some bugs, but also some things that could be better

- I'm sometimes kicked out of the closet for no apparent reason

- I wish reviving someone wouldn't take 3 business days since it makes things just impossible

- maybe give the possibility for the player who's down to crawl slowly towards anywhere

- I wish that in the non monster (easy) mode, leaving without our partners would not kill the other: it'd be better that they would respawn with us in the elevator (like Hospital 666 for example)

- the stamina bar really is unforgiving

- not enough  hiding spots

- environment changes being anomalies or not aren't always coherent? like blood from the ceiling is an anomaly but broken pipe with goo dropping isn't

Anyway love it! Keep up the good work :)

The fact we have to take pictures and thus face anomalies is a good feature (as many have said already)

Though there was only one unsettling anomaly? (to me you don't necessarily need scariness for a game in this genra, but maybe unsettling would make it better)

I'm used to this kind of game so it took me 10 minutes or so

Some issues:

We should have a clean start with no anomalies

There should be some kind of drawback if you start taking pictures at stuff that aren't anomalies (or a hard mode setting where it makes you go back to the beginning)

Very wobbly, should get an option to turn that off

Other than that, great potential, keep working on it!
