ugh what an absolute boss thank you so much for sharing. Should've known it was a West Coast hip hop synth patch lol

lil stuff, the marching snare rhythms are 3 2 1 patterns (triplet, duplet, single) the chords in the beginning build in patterns of 3 notes, then 2 more, then 1, etc. Just little calls to the theme! I wanted to try to use the literal numerics within the confines of actually capturing the spirit of a takeoff.
Visualizer win aside, this one is so painfully good lol. I think it smashes the theme out of the park, I think your instrument choices couldn't have been better (gotta figure out how you did that Theremin sound!). The mix is absolutely excellent, everything is present and well spaced. The sound patch variation gives this track so much life, it really feels like its coming and going as opposed to just beginning and ending. I would consider this a smash out of the park honestly. Great job!
As someone who loved FFVIII the combination of sounds you used brought me back to Lunatic Pandora. The melodies post-minute-mark are really lovely, feel nice and intentional and well put together. My only gripe is that I don't like the panning/delayed/airy synth part in the background in the first half, but that's just my subjective take. Like this one a lot overall!
Thank you so much! I've always had an affinity for busy drums. Sometimes it works, sometimes it aims straight down and blows my legs out from under me lol. I personally like how this came out (although still kicking myself for not checking LUFS beforehand). Excited to give a review on yours, going to do my voting tonight I think!
Ugh this is so great. The music, sprites, world, all of it feels very cohesive and just generally great together when played. The gameplay loop was satisfying, and you accomplished a sense of exploration in a relatively small space. Also, I'm a sucker for any game where you are shown love through a lil heart animation. Loved it.
