Great idea! I loved the game.
Points to work on:
Great stuff:
thanks for the feedback!
for the credits, I just put down some area2ds that tell the player where it should be facing. I also put down some invisible walls.
I love this game. How good sounds synchronize with the game state in water. Unfortunately, movements so fast and harder control in small areas
Lovely game! I like every part of it. The music is very nice, the art style is bright and colorful. There are a lot of nice touches like splash animation and music changes the pitch while underwater. I like the skill based jump in the end and checkpoints were smartly put. Very nice well rounded experience.
Very immersive and relaxing experience. For me, it's a masterpiece!
Congratulations, I really enjoyed it!
Spectacular work! Really awesome platformer executed in a creative way! The controls felt great and as you went from animal the controls felt intuitive! The pacing of difficulty and what each animal could do was done really well, too!
The art and music were wonderful and I really really appreciate how you took the time to do underwater fx as well for the sound! Awesome game!
Absolutely fantastic! The art was amazing, the music was great (including having it sound underwater), the gameplay was tight. Really really good job.
Also I got a good chuckle out of a fox hatching from an egg. :D
Some nice gameplay variety on display here.
I like the progression of the story and the fact that adapting to new controls as the player kinda reflects how the next animal has to adapt to its environement every time you move to the next stage of evolution.
The music is nice and chill, and the pixel art is beautiful, and the little pannel cutscenes were also a very nice detail.
My main gripe is that the controls feel a bit floaty, this proved quite challenging for the start with the jellyfish, and near the end with the fox when you have to perform the jump resets after hitting an enemy.
Other than that it's a cool game, the theme is well implemented, and like i said i like the variety on offer here.
Good job :)
Really good game, and I especially liked how you handled the credits. The jelly fish was the best form to run around for me and I got a bit stuck at some of the fox bits. Overall a great entry.
Well done!
I really loved this entry, the art/music is simply amazing.
A times the game was a bit difficult, but other than that, great job!
Simply addictive! I loved! <3
A very cute game! I'm not great with platformers, but I had a ton of fun. Very nice and chill music. Great vibes!
Played this the entire way through! The turtles and balloons really just hit my funny bone so hard! The art was soooooo cute! And don't even get me started on that ost.
Amazing! I liked mainly the fox, the dash feels very good on gameplay, the plot is also very well done, the OST feels so relaxing and fits well with the art style. I managed to throw myself on the bottomless limbo exploring on the fox level, but gladly going to the menu and getting back putted me back where i should. The controls could be a little more precise, but it's good enough to have a good time and play. Well done!
Very nice overrall feel and nice soothing music.
Very polished and fun to play. The level design was the best i have seen so far in the jam. The controlls were a little floaty but managable. The dash jump mechanic of the fox was just brilliant. Top scores from me.
ugh such a good OST, difficulty curve got me, but want to revisit just to hear the whole soundtrack
Love the overall feel of the game! Really calm and relaxed thanks to the music SFX and art style. Gameplay is great too, well done!
The movement of the squid while listening to the calm background music was a great experience
Really beautiful well designed game hope you will release it on steam or somewhere Really good job!
Every stage felt very distinct with its own challenges. Great music and art, with good attention to detail. Liked how the music was muffled when underwater.
