This is extremely cool! Flavorful and thoughtful. I'm gonna look into wrangling some friends to try it out with me. And I appreciate the foreword, thank you for not being neutral <3

Aw, that's so sweet! This comment made my day. I've always been enamored of the anime version of Endless Eight (what a bold move) and I keep getting drawn to it in my own art, so this was a really fun exercise.

Oh that's super cool to hear. I'll be following you for that

I want to play this!!

Cute and a little poignant. Wishing you and your son the best!

This is brilliant and hilarious and I will be breaking this out if I'm ever running a game with a would-be warlock character.

I like the words you choose for things. It all makes sense. Personally I'd like more fluff alongside the rules (the itch page description feels almost like a required supplement to me) but I understand that that wasn't the brief. Cool stuff!

Do I understand correctly that each relic will have 3 abilities, 1 from each column?

Super straightforward, clear tables, nice and comprehensive. Very cool!!

Not if but when. As another disabled trans dev, thanks for this <3

I like the reskin! As an avid fan of Pacific Rim I feel like this is a super low barrier of entry way to play with those tropes in an RPG space.

I do feel like I might get tripped up sometimes on whether something is 'technology' or 'biology' since the line between those feels blurry to me. But I suppose that can be massaged. Thanks for sharing!

I teared up a bit reading this. I appreciated your dedication, as well. I'm in video games; not sure if your friends were but there's at least resonance here. It's a bad time. Thank you for making a game about loss.

I really love the simplicity of this and the way it uses old texts. I'd love to go through some of my old college readers like dungeons, fighting off the words of shitty old philosophers 😂

One noticing: Troll has a [T] for its type in the PDF I downloaded, but I assume it should be a [C] ?

This seems like a really fun take on telling ghost stories—a little more collaborative, and also a little more competitive. I probably won't play it because I hate being scared 😂 But it's really cool!

Damn. Okay. 👏

Love the alternate history and the sample characters! Very cool and imaginative :)

Yo I saw your thing and it's so freaking cool. Will provide a proper comment on the submission page later

:P

(thanks for organizing this)

My heart... Thank you for this. 🙏

(1 edit)

I have a really big project I've been working on for ages so the idea of trying to do something different in 1000 words with no images or tables sounds really refreshing. Not entirely sure what I'll get up to yet but I'll update if and when I get an idea :)

EDIT: Okay, it looks like I'm doing an Endless Eight simulator.

I assume that in the spirit of the jam, they count as pictures, but wanted to double-check :)

No worries! One of our team members is starting to work on something

Hey, thanks for playing! Glad you're having fun, that means the would. There isn't an ending guide at the moment. What kind of info would you like to see in one?
