Just beat the game! Very cool, loved the puzzles! Congratulations!

It worked! I’ll try to play it today after work! And yeah, I usually just download directly from the site, but decided to give the launcher a spin.

Hey, I just tried installing this from itch.io’s launcher on linux, and it doesn’t recognizes any downloads for linux, so it doesn’t give me any options. Maybe all that is missing is clicking the “Linux” icon beside the executable, like this:

I tried downloading it through itch.io’s launcher on linux and they didn’t know what to do with .x86_64 files. Maybe upload the linux version as a .zip as well?

Also, I think the godot docs recommend to not bundle the pck inside the executable, so maybe it would be better to send a zip anyway, with the pck as a separate file?

Downloading directly from the website works though!

Muito legal o jogo, gostei da mecânica de “tradução”, a arte e a musica tavam muito boas e foi uma mensagem legal! Parabéns!

the steam link is going to another game of yours, “of mice and moggies”

Haha sorry fo that! Maybe we can try to add some different options of “drunk movement” after the voting is done and make it configurable from the options menu. But thanks for the compliments!

haha these are some physics bugs I still have to iron out, maybe after the voting is finished!

Haha congrats you cracked it! Once you get that trick it gets pretty easy! Specially if you realize the point it always cross right at the center of the movement, where your actual mouse is.

The art is really cool, and I liked the comics vibe! Controls were a bit jiffy, and there was some sliding when I was just standing around in some platforms.

The head mechanic was really cool, but some indicator of strength and direction would be really helpful!

haha, what made you feel bad?

Haha yes, it is possible, there’s even a congratulations screen! Thanks for the comment!

And well, I’d say the MilkShakes are so sweet that they “shake” you to your core!

Thanks for playing!

Valeu!

Thanks! Glad you liked the levels! I was really curious to try to replicate it in Godot as well, and there's a guy on reddit that did it, and there's a nice discussion there on how to do some of the rocket movement https://www.reddit.com/r/godot/comments/cdyhpc/new_guy_needs_help_with_3d_rocket_game/

Some day I might finally give it a try as well!

Thanks! That was a very good course! Nice to see others take in it as well!

Thanks!

Yeah, levels need some balancing in general, specially the last one, but I'm impressed you managed to beat everything! I'm glad you like the story too!

Sound Effects are literally the next step for the game in my spreadsheet!

What's your screen resolution? If you could send me a screenshot of how the boss appears to you that would be of great help! But it might be something about the art itself as that is still placeholder.

Yeah, the speed upgrades are a total tradeover. If you go too fast it might become too difficult, but you can always take points out of the min/max speed bars and put them elsewhere if you feel you went too far with it.

I left the option to go really fast as I think maybe there's some people out there that have enough reflex to get used to it, but I think I need to make some adjustments to vertical speed so that the player rises and falls faster as well or in some speeds you have no chance to dodge at all.

Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks a lot! Keep up with the courses, it's totally worth it!

An astronaut in a mission to the deep cosmic abyss finds the orb of knowledge, with all the secrets of the abyss! But by taking it he awakened the Lord of the Abyss, and now he needs to run for his life! Actually, Jetpack for his life!

This is a very early playable and the art is still placeholder sketches! If you play it, tell me what you though about it!

Game done with Godot game engine, art with Inkscape and Krita!

Hello people!

My name is Daniel and I'm a graphic designer and illutrator form Brazil! I've always had a inclination towards programing and I'm trying to learn as fast as I can and as my daily job allows me so I can submit something for this Jam!

I'm also a Godot n00b as I only found out about it on GDQuest video in the middle of december:

Hi! I just noticed that the game "Mystery Dorm II" says in it's own itch.io page that it was made on RPG Maker MV. You can notice the game has been submitted to a lot of jams, so the creator musta have simply submitted it to every open jam he could without caring to read what each jam was about.

I tried to find someway to report the game, or send a private message to the Jam's Hosts, but I couldn't find how to do it as I just joined itch.io to try to participate on this jam (though I'm really ejoying itch more and more as I get to kmnow it)! So I came here! Is there another place that's better for this?
