Thanks, I really appreciate it!

Yes, it did a month or two after the video was released. I reset it because of the game being released onto CrazyGames and because I changed my leaderboard from being anonymous to being account based. I’m still on the leaderboard in this version though, you just took my place for first! (I was ShotgunMan)

Congrats on setting the record for the highest score! The previous score was a hard one to beat!

Thanks! I loved the video you made on it!

Thanks! Yes I do, it's: electronicallgames@gmail.com

Thank you!

Thanks! I was really happy with how the helicopter turned out!

Thank you!

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you for playing!!

Thank you so much, I'm glad you enjoyed playing it!

Hahaha, yeah they do start to appear pretty late, I think around 40-60 seconds into a round. I should've made them drop a little earlier in the game.

I should've made the supply drops start to drop earlier, you're right. Thanks for playing!

Thank you for playing my game and for the awesome feedback! If I end up working on the game more in the future I'll 100% add the collisions between the cannons' shots and the environment. I left it out for the game jam because it was causing issues with it not hitting the player correctly, so I disabled most collisions for that enemy except for with the player as a last minute fix.

You have good point, I should have mentioned that it can be shot multiple times, thanks for the advice! I may look into checkpoints too, and maybe have a checkpoint / no checkpoint mode that you choose when you start. Xen from half-life is exactly what I was inspired from! That is the first thing I thought of when I was thinking of designs for my game, although I ended up going for more of a mars look than Xen. Thank you for playing!

This game is awesome, I love the screen effects! I really liked the idea of enhancing yourself and your opponents at the same time. I wish there were more enemies that came out later on, because this game was very fun to play.

I like that you made an arcade sidescroller shooter game like this, I haven't seen one in a while. I think the power-ups should spawn a bit more often, as it took a good bit to get my first one. Nice job overall though!

I thought this game was really fun! I enjoyed progressing through the map and finding the new areas and revisiting old areas with the enhancements that you get. The wall jump did feel a bit off sometimes, like I would jump normally sometimes and then not very far at all other times, although that could just be me doing it wrong lol.

I think the rotation and zoom mechanics were great ideas. I also like how there is progression and the levels get harder as you go on. A one shot kill for the player is a bit difficult, but I thought it made it a fun challenge!

I like the idea of this game. I feel like there should be more of an explanation of what the numbers mean and what each button does.

I really like the look of this game! I felt that the movement speed was a bit too slow for some of the puzzles, but I still thought this game was really cool! The puzzles you came up with were very fun to solve too, nothing too difficult but still taking a second to figure out.

This was a really fun game to play, and I love the game art! Some of the rounds do feel a little slow, but overall I enjoyed it! I think some more unit types and variation in background music would be cool too.

EDIT: Sorry for the comment spam, my itch desktop app glitched out lol

Thank you! I'll have to check it out soon!

I'm sorry to hear that! Adding damage indication on enemies would definitely be a good addition for that reason, thank you for the advice. The guards take 15 hits to kill so I can definitely see how it could be unclear without indication you are damaging it. I'm glad that you still enjoyed some other parts of the game!

Thank you for the feedback, it's really helpful to me! Like you said, some more visual effects and enemy types would definitely be good to add in the future, and fixing the guards being able to shoot through the pillars would definitely be a good thing to change. Also thanks for the tip, I definitely should have changed the icon lol.

I really appreciate the valuable feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed my game! I may end up expanding on it in the future, as I had a lot of fun making it and I think it could turn out pretty cool as a full game. Also looking back, I probably should have made the theme have more of an impact on the game like you said.

Thanks! Half-Life was one of my inspirations when I decided on graphics for the game.

If I have a character controller script that I made a while ago, am I allowed to use it in my game here?

Thank you so much!! I'm glad you enjoyed it!!
