Bug Report, I think: Pages go missing something. I thought it was because I was guessing wrong, but they appear and disappear at random. Also, I can't toggle fullscreen.

Is there a mute function?

The Game boots up and runs. I can even flip through menu and such, but the screen remains just a black box.

Yeah, and I turned the CTR thing off, seems playable then, but i still find myself squirting my eyes. Development note, make your game mutable, or at least mute itself when in the background.

So i tried again and i have another note, saving. I don't know if it there, but i didn't find it. Put it in, or make it obvious. Yeah, people with cheese the game with it, but it better having to start over every time you start.

Next, I realized something I didn't like. It was too dark. I had trouble seeing the hallway right in front of me. Darkness is a shortcut tool in horror needs to be used correctly. Just as a thought that i saw the cracked door, nicely done having it breadcrumb the player with a red tint. I found the lighter and rolled my eye 'oh boy, the most generic horror genre light source ever'. Played around trying to turn the lighter off. Seems I can only turn it off by dropping it, which is not favorable to anyone expect the monster. After that I quit again, because it's late and time for bed, but i'll try again soon.

One more thing, don't feel bad about my criticisms. I'm not a big fan of horror scary stuff and I'm easily bored. I just read and watch a lot of stuff on development and picked up a couple dozen things. You made a good game. I don't regret buying it. the horror genre needs better games, and I want to help if i can.

De rein.

Let me know if you ever want play tester, test audience, or voice acting(i have a high quality microphone, I'll do it for free, and this offers goes any game developer).

Also, my review. i didn't get far into the game. the visual are hard to see, which i know is the point but it makes the game uncomfortable to look at. I came across a dude with a knife just standing in the very first path and nothing happened. I was spooked at first, but then just confused. I'll try again but unless there's a way to make the image sharper i don't know how far ill go.

I have two words of advice to any developer when it comes advertising a video game: Vertical Slice.

Make a  demo, weather it be playable or video, that has every feature you think is important to the game. Puzzle solving, combat, stealth, etc.

Also, if you do a video be sure you show the button inputs, best as ingame graphics even if it's not in the final version(people won't notice it but it'll help a lot.

1. Gameplay footage counts as a demo.

2. Demos are not bonus in any sense what so ever.

3. Developers should be the ones to promote their works. Not third party Let's Players.

Well then they should at least have a free demo. To make sure this game is the kind game someone actually wants before putting money in. With that said, I'm buying it and I'll let know if it's what i thought you was.
