Like the simple and clean (pun not intented with that kingdom hearts song) selection of instrumentation you choose here. Instruments without much sauce explaining not huge or complex things from your head. (Nice to have the descriptions for each one!).

Keep up! :D

Favourite track: 06 - Stars! (Could imagine this in some sort of PaperMario'ish setup  )

That's ... a very huge world with complex interactions between a rich set of characters across 3 dimensions. Wow! Is one of those games you don't have to take lightly. Impressive work there!

At beginning I'm quite heistant to text-based games (even with the fact I made one many years ago), but I got inmersed into the world nicely. I'm quite stuck finding the third ingredient but overall I enjoyed! Good music also :D

  • My favourite cat: Ranger Garry
  • Most hillarious cat: Detective Garry (the power of photographyyyy!!!)

The idea is really good. Some technical issues there and there (standing animations and some lack of feedback for the player at damage and/or win/lose -> the fact that you don't have much time to react when you got damaged or when the game is over) but it does not ruin the fun.

The cave part is really challangeing. Not just for the jellys but also for the holes!

Agree with Sam. Super fun, not compex mechanic.

It even has a tricky thing. When you need to fully recharge for making a super jump, you can make a mistake thinking you have more "chances" and paf! Game over haha. Happened to me twice sicerely.

Tried to complete the game but my browser crashed :(
No audio? Jazz Jackrabbit 2 OST (Specially Carrotus) was a good companion for the game <3

That's me in a daily basis hahaha.

At first glance I said: oh sweep, great, but when the skeleton and knights appeared my concentration went to 2% percent, and instantly lose. Really interesting concept.

Hey! I'm thinking you are really getting the enchant of making games in RPG Maker. When I started to using it years ago I feel myself that was the most fun era haha. It's quite short, and able to do the deliveries and finding the frog (not the arch), and then felt trapped in that forest village for the rest of my life haha.

Keep it up! Making games there is so much fun! :D

Without knowing much what the game is about, tried to customize my bot taking in consideration aerodynamics, good grip and body shielding.

But then figured that will not be useful in the scenarios context (man, I'm the worst contractor haha). The puzzle approach was quite interesting, and even also could be used as a hook for educational programming lessons! (Heard about Hour of Code initiative?). Very well polished, congrats!

Lacked of audio, but nothing that DaemonXMachina OST couldn't solve :D

There is a fact of trueness on the concepts of your game: Most probably there will be signs of life in the external universe. But the universe itself is sooooo extense that probably both us and the other civilization will get extincted before finding both together.

I minded that you wanted gap that in the game and the concept of loneliness got in a cool way. Spent a bit exploring and crashing into stars (lol) and finding very little. Bit confused about WASD controls and zoom (not having a mouse but a touchpad this time). Interesting concept to develop man!

Hi Sam!

You are absolutely true:  Personalizing the towns: as in real life, each town in the world makes the planet unique in ... in the world? haha. Personalization was part of a original ideal plan, but had to scrap a little by my additional time constraints (had 10 effective days aproximatelly to have the game instead the 30 days). Had thinked on differencing green and snowy towns (even I draw tilesets for snowy towns) but it resulted in too few ones that I scraped the idea at last time. But yeah, there are so many types of towns as stereotypes in the world (tropical, cold, hipster, oriental, megapolis, remote cold towns, etc, etc)

.RPG Maker is great for prototyping, but maybe I will think in another platform. Thinking that games with similar mechanics (like uncharted waters) are able to be released in NES/SNES. And yeah, I think have potential for side quests and meta-histories across the cities.

Thank you for the review, I'm very happy that another stork (you) enjoyed this game!

Helpers for putting aritrary parameters to events/maps/databases (lcf2xml, event factory) and/or hex editors for the same basis (clcl).  For using it for experimental features technically compatible with unmodified RM2k/2k3e (not oficially as editor does not let you put these particular values, but the game executable (RPG_RT.exe) can handle it, like loading RTP resources from other categories (charas as pictures for example), controlled out-of-bounds corrupted events for making special effects, among others).

Can I use external tools to manipulate database/map data?  (2k/2k3e, no patches)

The overall idea and game athmosphere really have a huge potential: guiding a girl in a messed world not just by that supossed incident, also by that ghetto ambient where she lives. Don't worry about ending quality (I know doing things in 4 days can be really tough), saw that people still have a not-so-out-of-control party, since the cake is still intact haha!

I'm not a huge friend of SFXR based FX but that's ok for this alpha haha.

See you in another production ;)
