Extremely cool flavor and vibe. Love the premise, the dark fairy-tale vibe, and the gameplay loop - it's quite solid! Going to try and pencil in a short campaign at some point and get back to you with how it goes!

I'm intrigued by the premise of this game, which I got off of the bundle for trans action in Florida. The idea of an "old school" dungeon from medieval fantasy that's been corrupted into something more "modern" by 2Xth century zeitgeist is really interesting to me, but as it stands I have very little to latch onto for the world the system presents. I'd like some direction: perhaps the goal is more about small shop smash-n-grabs, how can I make that interesting with the rules presented? A sample dungeon would help a lot with that.
I love Knave for being equal parts gritty and streamlined. It carries the message of "go out and adventure" for those too light on time or mental processing power for other tabletops. Finding Cairn, and then Liminal Horror, felt only natural. I love the exploration of liminal spaces and exploring the supernatural that lurks on the fringes of our world, and having a system that cuts to the situation and characters rather than getting bogged down in its own mechanics seems like a heavenly match indeed. I also had a nice giggle about Mr. Sims. The Head Archivist of that venerable institute can't ever seem to catch a break.
