Hello! I am very very thankful that you have enjoyed all of it! I really wanted to give agency to the player and give them meaninful choices that would change the events or, if not possible, even just give a different narrative and point of view to the story, so that it would be more personal to each player! I also thought that it was really needed to have someone next to Val during the toughest part of the story, even just to have someone to talk to, so I created Letha (that's her!) for this purpose. She wasn't in the original story but she did fit in pretty well! And I liked writing her.
Thank you again, so much, for appreciating our work!!! I hope you'll be there for the comic as well once I start to release it, so we can see what happens next :3
Wow, congrats for completing almost all the achievements!!
Some of the achievements can't be had if you have chosen a path in spite of the other, so you'll probably want to explore the other routes- hint for that achievement: maybe you didn't get it because you didn't fail enough!
There is also the possibility that the game needs to be better balanced, because you will get a score according to which choices you make, but if it's too easy to improve in the game, it means that some routes won't show. So let me know if you think it's difficult to get that achievement and I can fix it a bit <3

We'll have some updates in the next weeks! ps. I love the soundtrack too, we went looking for good royalty free music and Im still loving what we found. I think that one of the things you can enjoy in this game is sadistically put Val in the worst position because you wanted so, and this is a pleasure I wouldn't rip off from the players! Hahaha, so I'm very happy that you enjoyed it. I don't want the game to be simply an excuse for that, but it's definitely something I can understand (oh if I do).

Yeah, I'm planning on drawing chatacter sprites of Letha and Zahad because they are totally needed. I want to show you Zahad in all his hot evilness and also Letha because even though she is a secondary character, I like her a lot and I hope it's going to be the same for you.

I've been looking for some beta-readers but they couldn't check out the text in time, so I just had to... translate it from Deepl and throw it in the code. Our Editor gave us some beta-reading but as there was not much time left, and the fixes she put were huge, I couldn't check out the text in time as well. I also... uhm am a bit unsure because I found out that I don't like other people twisting my writing too much, so I'm not comfortable with a beta-reader that takes all the text and rewrites it, so I need to trust someone now in order to ask them to help me with the english T__T This made it more difficult for the dialogue to be english-wise correct. But I hope I'll find a good solution for that, and thank you for the feedback because you're helping a lot with this :)
By the way, I am incredibly happy that you appreciated the visuals, and the frame and all, and I'm happy that I shared this with you! After a bit of a break, I'm sure we'll go back to taking care of the game for next chapters!

About the CGs, yeah I agree with you. I kinda tried to make an experiment with sprites in the CG because I wanted to see if I could meh! let them change the expression without having to make 3 different CGs, but the result is not the best one. Your feedback on it is very useful because then we can understand what works and what doesn't! So thank you a lot.
The music was chosen by me, but most of the sound library comes from EdsanGames!!! They have a reeeally wide library to choose from. They also had a ehm. nsfw library but I thought it was too graphic in the end and didn't put it in the game. But I... really had fun testing that too hahahah!
I'm very happy that you enjoy this kind of storyline or worldbuild, is one of those that I really like and that I don't thin I see enough in VNs. We'll update the game with more chapters if you like to have more of the game :3 thanks again for stopping by!
I know! I want that too! As the game was made for the Yaoi Game Jam, we managed to arrive only here, but the story goes for at least 6 chapters more! We'll just need to take a break after all the work done in only 2 months, but I'm sure we'll go back on working on the rest of the game in the next months!
yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees! it's such an awesome and interesting narrative to explore! you can write a lot of things about it! i really want(ed) to explore it in this story because it would be a waste not to, being it fascinating and kind of a very good metaphor for some situation that we also have in real life!
uhmmm I'm trying to load the demo, I have no idea of what I'm doing and it looks like if I try and open start.rpy inside the demo folder it will say 'directory name not valid' and won't open it. Can anyone tell me how you do that? If I had screenshots of examples, I'd really appreciate that!
