Thanks, I’ll fix it soon.

I'm really sorry about your loss. I appreciate your feedback and understand your point completely. I'll see how I can revise the ending to make it feel less cynical.

It’s always a humbling experience seeing my games being played on stream. Thanks, I really appreciate it!

This is a very high praise, thank you so much!

When I playtested, I once got double shot (twice) + back shot + range, and my bullets covered pretty much the entire screen

Ah, a fellow Construct 3 enjoyer! This is one of the better games that I've played this round. The mechanics were simple but unique enough to stand out. The intro cutscene was also charming. I'd like to see more!

Out of all the games I've played so far, this one feels by far the most polished and fun. Nicely done!

Oh, that's a pretty cool name you got there for your project! My original title was Mathemagician but it didn't gel well with the whole gladiator theme :D

I do remember Calculords! But my main inspiration was the math round they do on the British show called The Countdown.

There should be more games about math, tbh

Thanks for the feedback! I’ll be completely honest: right now, the only difference between difficulties is the amount of time you have (60 seconds, 30 seconds and 15 seconds, respectively). I do want to make them feel more distinct than that, though.

I wanted to include tons more (actual game over, shop, items, bosses, branching paths in the vein of Slay the Spire) but couldn’t quite make it in time. I’ll update the game soon, fingers crossed!

Oh, that's a huge oversight. It simply never happened to me while I tested it, so it didn't occur to me that that would be a problem.

Thanks for the feedback! I'll fix it in the next update.

It's not your fault | As He is...so are we

Happens to the best of us, you still did amazing

Oh yeah, a level editor makes total sense! I plan to go back to Samsara one day, so this is definitely on my to-do list

Hm, that’s something for me to test, thanks!

Hey, $0 is still pretty nice! At least you're not going bankrupt.

The revenue bar is there to put some pressure on you, but I didn't want to penalize the player too hard because not everybody is great at puzzle games (even if I think the puzzles here are pretty simple).

Well, that's my official legend, anyway. The truth is, I ran out of time and didn't implement a game over :D

Thanks, I've just added a cover image and some screenshots. Couldn't do it right away.

Thanks for the feedback! I agree with you about the lack of polish. My only excuse is limited time (this was a game jam submission).

Once I'm done with my current projects, I will return to Gun Nut and do it justice.

That means you're an Inside Job pro!

Thanks! I use Construct 3 for all of my games

I use Construct 3 for all of my projects

Не за что! Все игры я, кстати, делаю один :)

Thank you so much for the kind words! I think I'm going to return to this project at some point in the future as I still have some unrealized ideas.

Thanks for the ideas! I did indeed plan to include more enemies, worker types, and even character customization. Sadly, this was a game jam project, so my time with it was limited.

I will get back to it, along with some of my other projects, and expand on it.

I agree, Dye Hard is the best of the bunch. I actually considered removing the other games at some point but I spent too much time on them, so decided to keep them. (Plus that would ruin the entire bootleg vibe.)

Once the jam ends, I will certainly update the Bootleg Collection. I had several stages planned for Temple Mayhem and GTA + I need to fix the bugs.

Thanks for playing!

(1 edit)

Thanks for noticing!

Glad to hear that my games now qualify as educational :)

Not going to confirm nor deny

Glad you could progress! I should definitely update the content some more.

Ok, I've updated the game. Now you cannot be killed when choosing an upgrade. Fingers crossed.

Let me know how it plays now and what other issues I should fix. Thanks!

You can always reload a level by pressing R :)

Yep, that’s a known issue. Not gonna lie, I’m just being lazy about fixing the game.

I promise I will, though.

Hmm, very strange, I can't replicate this. I'll take a look at the code, maybe I can find what the issue is.

Thanks for the comment! The game was made for a game jam, so there are a few oversights that I have yet to correct. In fact, I just might update the game soon.

Yeah, I think you're better off waiting for a more polished version. I will update this game after the jam ends, maybe in a week or so.

Yeah, the bugs are something I'm working on. I will update the game once the jam ends.
