Ah, a fellow Construct 3 enjoyer! This is one of the better games that I've played this round. The mechanics were simple but unique enough to stand out. The intro cutscene was also charming. I'd like to see more!
This was a really fun platformer. I like the turn to stone mechanic I don't think I've seen it used in a platformer before and it lead to some interesting platforming. The art looks really nice, I think a parallax background would've helped give it a more complete look. The controls took me a bit to get used to, I'm so used to space being dash so I kinda killed myself a lot by accidentally turning into stone. Great work on this!
Many thanks for the great feedback! The turning to stone mechanic was definitely more of an experiment and I'm happy it turned out well. I'll definitely consider using parallax backgrounds for future projects :)
This was a really enjoyable little platformer! The core mechanic of gliding and turning to stone is cleverly implemented and creates some satisfying puzzles. I especially liked the sound effects at most. My only minor critique would be that orbes looks like a coin and i always want to collect them :| . Overall, though, a great entry! Well done!
Thanks for the awesome feedback!
Great game! I really liked the opening cutscene. It gave me an old-school game vibe. The mechanics are well implemented. The pixel art looks great too. Great job!
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed the cutscene and mechanics :)
Fun game. The gliding and turning to stone made some fun platforming puzzles. Good game!
Glad you enjoyed it! It was fun designing it all
One of the best game submitted. The sound design and music are perfect and the mechanic complement each other well.
That is amazing to hear and it means a lot!
This was a extremly good game! Tho it was a bit to hard at the start, with tricky tight corners. I would rather prefer a smoother difficulty scaling. Otherwise, fantastic job! The cutscene was amazing! :D
Many thanks! Level design is something that I want to get really good at and your feedback has helped a lot and given me much to think about. I’m happy that you liked the cutscene :)
This is definitely one of my favorites in this jam! I love this platformer idea and would love to see it be developed further, everything about it is great (small story, graphics, and polish like chef's kiss). It challenged me and I was able to get 54 seconds on the leaderboard. Maybe it was just the leaderboard and I'm just competitive lol.
Wow, thank you so much! I'm incredibly honoured that you consider it one of your favourites in the jam. And 54 seconds on the leaderboard is an impressive time!
This is a really fun platformer game. Great job!
Once I realized there was a leaderboard, I played it so much more to try to get on the board.
There were a couple of parts that I got stuck at, at first. But the progression felt really good when you introduced a way to overcome an obstacle and then combined that skill with another one in a later level.
That's great to hear! Thanks for the feedback
Fun platformer game. Was a bit lost at first as other than being given controls, I did not know what the bubbles and dragon fly did so I was stuck a bit when the dragonfly was introduced. Turns out I had to land on top so there was a bit of precision needed there that didn't leave room for error. Great use of mechanics for the puzzles!
Thanks for playing! I'm glad you liked the mechanics and I hope you enjoyed figuring out the solutions to my puzzle platformer
