Man, the terrain generation is flawless. The sole detail of putting the debug generator is worth everything. As I'm looking to step up the level on my random maps this is a great north. Everything else is impressive too, great visuals and on the surface seems to have deep systems. If I have to be crit. of something, the font is hard to read and UI isn't very friendly, movement could be smoother too.
Overall this is my pick for the jam, great job.
Interesting card game! There are 4 conditionals to cards: calm, health, Ap and Mp. I like how you choose spells depending on what you current necessities in the run are, with conditionals restraining you from using only 'that dmg spell' and 'that heal spell'.
The Mp is a little unbalanced, there is only one card that adds Mp points so i was running low on it and only could use one card at the end.
Overall cool entry with cool concept, and i see how it can increase in complexity adding variety. I also made an entry if you wanna check it out.
Hey man, couldn't play your game on Firefox. At 'play' the character instantly get caught by someone and then the screen bugs blank with health bar.
Love the intro music tho, leave the first screen so i can listen to it, you recorded a bass and everything, cool. Love the dev log.
Hope you update it so i can try it out. I also made my own entry if you want to check it.
Hey man, cool concept, leave you some overview if you're interested.
3D + Pixel art goes really well with those lighting effects and particles, the downsized resolution sticks all together nicely. The movement feels good and fast paced. Love the trippy moving ambient (shader picking up vertices?) and the particles give the juice it needs.
Enemies could have anticipation animations to figure out when will they shoot, although lighting does the trick sometimes.
Simple path-finding would have been nice for enemies to not stick on places.
Overall interesting experience, very unique aesthetically. I also made my own entry if you're interested in checking it out.
Hello, i'm interested, love your style. I'm a musician and i make SFXs too. I been looking to make a game long time ago since my last jam, so i'm willing to spend a good time and compromise on it.
The music i make as a musician is here: https://fela.bandcamp.com/
Though i made three gamejams before and i always make a more atmosferic pieces. Can go with acoustic or more electric style.
My ID is fela#9204
I like'd it. Yea it's kinda slow, but is its way to express the art and the game idea. The game balances this by making short levels, and very well designed may i say. The position of windows in dead ends showing the objective, a new door that just opened or path you didn't saw.
Love how there's absolutly no interaction besides the buttons and then they give you a pipe or whatever, then i started smashing everything. A well done experience.
Thank you very much for the reply! Yes, i'm all set now. I'll look for that code! Really wanna expand my knowledge on programming, more if it's about musical stuff because as a musician it's cool to know how to do those musical details that make the difference. Sadly i just gave up on C# because looks like my brain can't even go 50%, and started with LOVE2D's Lua, not sure if it's the right path but i can always go back. Logic seems the same on most of languages though, so i'll see wich i can fit more into.
Thank you again, and congrats on going live in the GMTK video ! You guys really deserve it. Even a port to mobile i would say can cause quite a success.
