Very unique concept! Although the game left me wanting more, that is often the case for game jams. I very much enjoyed the micro-managing along with choosing who to send where.  The traits affecting the results is a really cool idea, but I wish it wasn't so restrictive. I sent every hero I got to go investigate the graveyard but nothing ever happened D:

This was a very enjoyable playthrough! It was a bit easy, but not so much that it hurt my experience. Well done :D

I completed the level, went to the level win screen with the score breakdown, but then couldn't do anything there. It was like the next level button was missing.

10/10 interpretation of the theme :D

Seeing my cookie get slowly eaten was so sad and makes me reconsider all those cookies I've clicked in the past..

I'm not sure if I was missing something obvious or not but I couldn't advance the game after I beat the first level. There's no button and I pressed a lot of keys hoping to go to the next level, but nothing worked. I hope I am just being dumb, I'd love to play this game!

Really interesting concept. I love how it feels like you're playing against yourself rather than playing against the game like normal tower defenses.  My only gripe is that I want to make my defense as strong as possible but if I do so, then I can't beat it and have to restart. I know that's part of the strategy, but I feel it would be more satisfying if there was more ways for you to overcome the defenses when you are attacking without making my defense weaker. Great game!

Can do! The game page has been overhauled :D

Solid idea and I think there's potential here. With it's current length, the game felt more like a tutorial for a game instead of a full game.  I never ran into any situation like this, but I was a bit worried with the random movement that I would get into situations where I couldn't win no matter what. Multiple dice is a great way to limit that bad rng but with more difficult levels, it may be an issue. Great game!

Really fun little game! I wish there was a leader board so I could show off my high scores!

Super enjoyable game! Although the levels didn't feel particularly challenging, it was still fun to manage the movement and actions in the most optimal way. The icon to show what ability with be facing up on the potential move area was great! The one complaint I have is that the auto move path would favor one way over another. For example, if you wanted to move up 3 and left 1, you could only see the preview of one option. There's 3 separate faces of the die that could end up as the top depending on the roll order, but I could not plan ahead for any path other than the one given to me.  Overall, very well done!

Pretty satisfying to slam dice into the enemy, especially when you have a bunch of dice to roll at once! I had a lot of fun with this game!

Thanks for the feedback! There actually is a restart level (and undo) hotkey, although the game only tells you during one of the early levels and it is easily missed. I probably should have just left the hotkeys up on all of the levels. You live and you learn :)

This has a ton of potential! The game is super enjoyable and satisfying. With more content and an game explanation of how the core systems work, I could see this being a full-fledged game. One piece of feedback I have is to maybe make the player invincible while dashing as I often got hit while dashing around. Or maybe if you don't want the player to just dash through the attacks, maybe getting hit while dashing could stop the dash in it's tracks, but doesn't damage the player. Either way, well done!

The concept is solid, the idea could probably be explored and twisted in unique ways with a bit more time. My main feedback is that some randomly generated combinations of dice seemed impossible. The game might benefit from hand crafted levels that can focus on tricky jumping puzzles involving the dice platforms. Overall, well done!

Really fun game, and I loved the characters. The enraged effect is super satisfying and I would trigger it just to hear it and try to dodge it! I'm not a huge fan of twin sticks, but I genuinely enjoyed playing this game!

I love the pixel art and entire vibe here! Being able to move off the square tiles caught me off guard and was a simple yet cool twist. I'm a bit bummed there's not more levels, but I enjoyed it nevertheless!

I always got annoyed playing games where you could not tell what input corresponds to what direction, I'm glad someone noticed!

Super fun game!  Easy to understand and perfectly encapsulates the feeling that games like doodle jump have. Although I did run into a few bugs, they did not take away from the gameplay at all and I spent way more time playing this game then I was originally expecting! Well done!

Definitely the most unique game I've played yet! I think the dice could have affect gameplay in more ways than just a timer, but I enjoyed the vibes!

Thank you!     Also, Bazinga

(1 edit)

Ah I must've pressed every button on my keyboard except enter lol

Bazinga :)

I cannot seem to get past the start game screen. Maybe I'm missing something but no controls or clicking did anything

Thanks a lot! In case you missed it, I added a very "subtle" nod to Bloxorz in the title haha. Thanks for playing!

Lowkey addicting :D

The entire vibe of this game is really cool! :D

The entire vibe of this game is really cool! :D

Unfortunately the game seems to get stuck after trying to move for the first time :(

Great concept executed well! I very much enjoyed playing, well done!

The concept is super unique! The ice explosion ability is cool but frustrating. Walking faster than the projectile speed often lead me to walking into them. A cool way the frost roll could be balanced is to let the primary projectiles do double damage to enemies. That way it would feel rewarding while remaining challenging. Good woork!
