Just want to say thank you for being such an inspiration! this is so hype

Welcome to Society of Play's Revival Jam 4! If you're new here, we've got some guidelines to share.

  • A majority of our team forming is on our discord! If you haven't already, join here:  Discord Link
  • We also have a team forming document to show which teams are already formed and are looking for teammates: Team Forming Doc
  • Don't try to team up with everyone who's posted, it's hard dating two people at once!
  • If you have any issues, please reach out to a moderator on our discord.

Good luck out there!

We really should do a cartridge jam 4

Salt man lives on in SoP mythos

But there were no other options? This was a bad point and click game through and through

you deserve last place for this

You didn't have to poke it

idk a game about poking a dead rat doesn't seem right to me

This game is art, if you don't get it, you don't get it

HOLY SHIT YOU ARE AN ARTIST

oh shoot, oh well tis a jam!

¿¿¿

god i love how quickly it becomes uncontrollable after the end.
I love jellycat!

What was not working for you

If you be more specific than 'barely functional' it could actually be fixed ya know

Lmao yeah its very dissociative, kinda meant to evoke those empty nostalgia vibes being made for machines.

To be fair, this game was made in 8 hours

Thanks for playing!

Also yeah I immediately used the fluxus energy to edit the submission after I saw INYF

If the reel wasnt working after a reset try rotating it counter clock wise!

If you didn't see the full game, take a look at a longplay we recorded!

Character design and texture were awesome! I could feel how the game looked

Love the character controls and robot mouth FX!

what a wake up call
Love the vibes you had going and the aimless wandering while still feeling like i'm traveling in a correct direction was great!

Holy shit we are on the same wavelength and our games have some similar NPC beats I love this jam
GOOD SHIT!!

I don't think i got a single point and i love it!

oh weird! yeah there's a whole 2 levels after you collect the 5 cores, and it is supposed to load a different one.
I know the games long so we have a longplay up if you wanna check out that content

you can reel by clicking, holding, then spinning the spinning reel with a circular mouse motion!

Thank you!!

well yeah
dog the world is ending and you are dumb fish npc

It could even be a hat! Who knows!

Thanks! We put a lot of effort into getting Unity to stop looking like Unity

why do i feel so seen!?!??

oh I hadn't heard of this before, thanks for the tip!

thank you! I put all my glube energy into the animations

well yes it is for the arcade cabinet

yeah I originally wanted to make players spam the timer to make the countdown happen faster but there's only so much time in a jam and work was better placed on other things

Yeah let me look around on some hard drives, it was probably made in Unity 2019, so take everything you look at with a grain of salt that tastes like this was my first melee action game lol

Sorry mate but this was made for a physical community SoP cabinet which has some pretty strict requirements for input. Had I more time we would have gladly made additional control schemes, thanks for the advice for future games though.

The asset pack jam wasn't meant to be competitive, so ranking is disabled. There will be scores for the upcoming Revival Jam 2

Great stuff! It took awhile to find some jams that used randomness with known odds, similar to how dice actually work. Love all the dialogue options, and the special interactions for crits was great!

slayed the theme with an idler

Lmaoooo the squirrel gun is great, this was really polished, excellent stuff!

Awesome color palette. Great use of chokepoints in the level design
