The exploration and graphics are so chill and the NPCs are so funny and the music is so chill dude and using a FISHING ROD as a GRAPPLING HOOK is one of the best game mechanics ever created. Story made me understand I am fish (me), and neon gemesis on the sega saturn

What modifiers did you use?
Fluxus (huge inspiration behind art direction and story)
butts (play to find 'em, they're critical to the plot)
Perform a Blood Sacrifice (features were cut!))
How would you consider this game to be Pompous Trash?
Pompous - What are butts? What are holes? What is anime? We seek to answer these life's questions.
Trash - Everywhere. It takes place in a dump. We source a shitton of random textures.
It's completely pompous in design, its the second UNFAULTED TYPE NARRATIVE EXPERIENCE in the world. Players are shown that there has been a ton of effort and care into the work itself without caring for the NPC's (you).
This game is literally a mirror of how I feel while jamming on video games while also capturing the feeling of watching anime on adult swim stoned late saturday nights
Did you accomplish your goal?
Yes! But at the cost my sanity, and some additional time to iron out the experience after the submission deadline.
What was your goal for creating this game?
We wanted to create a conceptually complete adventure game, and we did it! I wanted to make a game that not only has a full adventure but a complete inversion of that is reflective of our relationship with consumption and creation while also exploring my personal contrast between being full of myself and feeling empty
