Nice! That was cool - funny enough, we considered doing a 2D hole in the wall game show with tetris stacking to make the shape for the wall, but settled on something else.

I had some difficulty picking and dragging limbs, as well as a little bit of lag, but no biggie. Perfect game show vibes. nice job!

This was pretty sick! Graphics/audio was on point, the awesome lighting made me want to play with 2d lighting. I liked the in-game display of the controls, that was a nice touch. The intro was also super dramatic and immersive.

Only bit of feedback I had was the WASD movement tripped me up occasionally, kept expecting W to move me in the direction of the mouse look.

That was super fun, nice job. Music / sfx was great. Last puzzle took a little bit to get. The little knives/shanks were my favorite part.

this was a nice chill/short & sweet game! the ding sfx is a little bit loud for my taste, but the background music perfectly fit. the various particle effects caused stuttering the first time they each came on screen, but no biggie!

Ah thanks for the feedback! Sorry about those bugs. It’s too bad we used the escape key on the dialog, because it’s also clickable lol. I always forget about exiting full screen.

Colliders… it’s always colliders.. haha appreciate the comments and the play!

Haha, thanks! The metal morphing is just a Polygon2D w/ texture, with an attached script that generates a bunch of polygon points on the top. When you hit the metal with the hammer, the script grabs the closest polygon point (+ a few neighbors depending on the hammer type), and pushes them down by however hot the metal is - and lerps the neighbors down by how far from the hammer the neighbor is.. also updates a matching collision polygon’s points for detecting when the metal “fits” into the depicted shape.

Solid feedback thanks! We didn’t really get to do much balancing but had planned to make some weapons slow but powerful, others fast but weak. Appreciate the recording!

Thanks for the play and feedback! Now that the jam is over, I have updated it to use a much better / less obscure code, and added more help text to the emergency help button. :)

Thanks for the play and feedback! Yeah, looking back there were much better options for the code lol. If you want to give it another try.. I added more help text to the emergency button <spoiler>Do the words in orange on the advertisement poster mean anything?</spoiler>

Thanks for the play, feedback, and since you heard the loop a couple times, the time spent! Admittedly the code might have been too obscure :) the door pops open on its own as soon as you dial in the correct code. Of course interpretation of the limitation can be in the eye of the beholder! Funny enough I’ve actually been stuck in an elevator IRL, and it feels pretty immobile!

Thanks so much for the play and detailed feedback! avndr (not on itch) is the mastermind behind the track and the fx. really came out awesome!

Definitely agree the models need refinement, they’re really only draft state. “time permitting” didn’t happen lol. in fact the only open cards left in the repo are for textures!

Awesome! Thanks again for sticking with it and playing through :)

Thanks for the play! Where’d ya get stuck?

Thanks for testing and playing so thoroughly and finding some quirks :P definitely hard to get all the bugs out in 72hrs!

edit: now that game jam is over, spoiler removed, and spoiler added to the emeergency help button in the elevator :)

If you’re really stuck on the code, there’s a tip in the comments on the game’s page :)

Thanks for the play! I considered changing the code to something else as it seemed too tricky.. you figured the code out though?

This was adorable. Great fx and well put together. i would play more levels!

Sounds like you’re on the right track! The other poster in the elevator might help, there’s some clues that might help with the code.

Thanks for the play! Did you figure out the combo lock code?

Haha, definitely will play yours! Did you escape the elevator? Thanks for the play!

nice! that was fun. i love the art style, the sfx, and the rhythm / focus shifts

That was awesome, nice job, great level design. I wanted more levels :P
