That was fun ! And astoundingly pretty ! I thought the idea was super interesting and polished nicely, especially with the randomness of it, it didn't feel unfair, but it wasn't easy either.
I miscounted the sheep a couple times, as it turns out having my attention on the two things going on at once was tricky, but I liked that ! I didn't have to turn the light back on once though, so i don't know what that does.
I'm also easily frightened, so that kinda made the adrenaline pump, with the creepy noises, color choices and sense of impending doom ! Good job !

Excellent art and classic gameplay loop.

A few more things to track (and maybe give people a few strikes on the sheep) and this could easily be a full release.

Akimaya! Fantastic job! The art style is so charming, and I love the idea of how this game forces you to multi-task, splitting your attention between the top screen counting sheep and the bottom screen warding away the nightmares. It also is a very clever way of working with the theme and limitation.

A really unique idea on the limitation. Great game, simple to play and lovely artwork. The nightmare under the bed got me a few times although I was clicking on it. Otherwise loved it

This game is absolutely superb, from the presentation to the core concept and the way it adapts the limitation of this game's jam everything here just works perfectly to create an absolutely haunting atmosphere. The multitasking of paranoia and focusing on sleeping really is a perfect encapsulation of insomnia encapsulated in gameplay form

Wow, very cool idea. You have to balance between counting and scaring off the nightmare to win. It would be nice if there was a timer visible as an indicator to when the game will end. Great game, though.

:D

Developer

Thank you so much I'm really glad you enjoyed it! Hopefully we can add more features like a timer in the future :D
