I like the fireboy and watergirl game like mechanics but some of the levels are just stupidly hard to get through that it, it makes the game unenjoyable at times. That added with the fact there's hardly any instructions or hints for the player.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and hidden story being told in the game play. I also think you guys beautifully used the mouse and keyboard to enhance the gameplay instead of bring it down.
I really liked the usage of dreams and to tell the viewer all of this is meaning for something bigger which we somewhat find out at the end. Very beautifully done! The art was also beautiful to the story, I can't wait to see you guys release the bigger game when it does come out :) . This is one of my fave submissions so far for the jam.
Hello! So I just tried your game out and I love the 8-bit type of style you went for. I really like the ant characters design as it feels cartoony and like it came out of a western film. The controls were also pretty fun especially the jump for the character. However, It seems I've gotten stuck around after getting the white flower from the bee. Also, the transition from different maps can feel choppy sometimes and getting certain floors or falling through can cause the character to glitch out around the map.
I really hope you're able to fix these issues to make the game more playable and enjoyable.
Hello, as the game jam progresses it's very easy for various works to get lost in the void of other titles considering 300+ games have been
submitted. I'm willing to help any one out who needs views/rates if you'd provide the same for my game as I'm really looking for feedback and criticisms to help as a game dev.
I'm happy to play games to provide that same treatment, just drop a link and pitch of your game below.
My game is for anyone who loves a good RPG along with turn-based combat, and dungeon/puzzle mechanics!
Hello! This is my submission to the Adventure 2023 game jam, this is my first game I've ever made by myself and any ratings and feedback would be useful on continuing my journey as a Game dev.
The story is about a girl having to prove herself to her Kingdom's Council to show she's fit to be the next Queen. The story is filled with comedy, betrayal, and various RPG elements such as puzzles, an dungeon, and turn-based combat.
I think providing control instructions would've made gameplay more enjoyable. Moreover, I had to get super close to the targets for the ball to even hit which was annoying since most FPS provide you with some range. I also think if you animated the ball hitting the target better it would've made it more satisfying.
The thing that confuses me with this entry though is how it ties in the to 'adventure' aspect of the Jam. However, I believe this could've easily been solved if you gave some sort of story or lore through text the way HALO or COD even does.
This was one of the jam games I've been anxiously waiting to play when I saw screenshots of the character art and game play layout, and let me tell you was it worth the wait! This game filled all my indie RPG maker needs down to the turn-based combat, scenery, art style, and characterization. It's been a long time since I've seen a male and female duo in a action/adventure RPG in the indie scene and it was fun to experience Dorian and Anna.
I was not expecting normal mode to be as hard as it was, and I was more surprised to find out I did have to grind a bit and buy armor before facing the werewolf. It was easy to get swarmed by those slime monsters in some parts of the map making certain areas more tedious.
Overall the pacing, gameplay, and story were good!
The only minor complaint I had was wanting to see more of Anna and felt Dorian was a bit more developed than she was in the game/story, but that's without considering the time restraints of the jam itself.
I really enjoyed this game, and I definitely plan to check out your other work in wait of seeing these two stories continue :3
