The Chinese pixel fonts are quite easy to make, as the characters don't have shades like the Japanese one. However, I just need the whole text to be translated in Traditional Chinese.
You know what, if you want to get access to the whole translated text of the game, extract the APK file and select a "lang" folder in the "assets" folder. lang8 is the Chinese language folder. You can find the Chinese pixel fonts there.
Sonic Advance International (and also MOST Mods) is based on the Chinese game version that I found on this website : https://archive.org/details/1.0.0_202310
The game version is indeed the cracked version that you're talking about. However, I managed to remove the pop-ups and made this mod the full-game version by default. I may not be an expert at programming, but I do have some experience.
As for what you can help for my game mod, I'm mostly looking for programmers who has experience with Java/Smali programming for further modding. However, you can help me for making a Traditional Chinese version if you want.
Actually, I implemented the language settings differently. And I don't think I'll be capable of taking care of the languages string selection.
I think the auto-language detection works fine.
By the way, do you think I've written "Special Level Gyroscope" properly ?

I know. But the problem is that I'm not used to alphabets other than latin ones.
Also, if I try to translate the game to Russian, it's guaranteed that I might make some grammar errors. Keep in mind that the tips during the loading screen are unique to this Android port, and I can't find any instruction manuals written in Russian.
So I need someone who knows Russian better to add this language in the game.

I know that I haven't translated accurately in the Chinese version. For instance, about the "motion sensing operation", I wrote "Special sensory experience", but I actually wanted to write "Special Gyroscope".
As for the Chinese language... DAMMIT GOOGLE TRANSLATE!

Hello there. I think I need to explain to better understand the context.
First of all, the Android port of Sonic Advance is an old official software by SEGA released in 2011/2013. And the games on this page are presented as game mods. Not fan remasters.
Secondly, the frame rate is indeed terrible (running at 15 FPS). I wish I could fix this issue, but I'm not an expert at Java/Smali programming. I can only modify what I can understand in the game's code.

But the problem is that my game will be an arcade game taking inspiration from 16-bit hardware. The music has to use the YM2151 sound chip as the instruments.
Note that it's written "DefleMask or Furnace" next to the Sound designers criteria. These are music trackers capable of using the YM2151 instruments. So unless if you are used to trackers, I don't think you can help me.

I'm here to announce a new game that I'm currently working on (The images down below are mock-up screenshots made by myself).
Office Trouble Starring Arvi is a 2D action arcade game taking inspirations from games running on the SEGA System 16 arcade hardware.
Take control of Arvi in the troublesome building filled with offices and obstacles to traverse, enemies to avoid and items to collect.
The goal is to reach the highest score in the hi-score table. To score big, you have to finish stages by collection the required amount of movie items and reach the exit door within a time limit for each stage.
If you reach 1'500'000 points, you'll be granted with a surprise!
Office Trouble is currently in concept phase. And because this is quite an ambitious project, I would need help from people who has experienced with game development. If you have one of those skills listed down below, you can leave a comment so we can discuss on Telegram or Discord.
