Yeah, I didn't have much time to play test, so I didn't realize the waiting after a minigame would cause problems. As for getting stuck on corners, I made the collision detection code myself, so it's still a bit buggy. I didn't want to spend a long time fixing it during the jam, so I just left it as is and hoped no one would mind too much. Thanks for the constructive criticism!

tahnk u for the reveiw

I really like the idea, and the puzzles are interesting, but there are some really game-breaking bugs. Having to drag the modifiers slowly isn't too bad, but cars randomly stopping on turn tiles makes the game nearly unplayable. I had to redo each level multiple times because one of the cars would eventually just stop moving. At one point one of them even crashed into seemingly nothing. I eventually gave up after trying the same level over 10 times and getting stuck because of bugs. I really want to rate this game higher since I feel like it has a lot of potential, but for now I'm giving it a 2/5.

(1 edit)

The game was fairly fun overall, but I have a few problems with it:

1. There are only a few weapons, and they're a bit unbalanced. Only the gun you start out with seems to do significant damage, and the flamethrower is completely useless against anything that can shoot you since you have to get up really close for it. It could also use a better design for the flames, since I thought it was a machine gun at first and was confused about why it wasn't reaching things from far away.

2. Enemies are able to block you from moving. At on point I got pushed into a wall by an enemy and wasn't able to move away, so it ended up taking a huge chunk of my health.

3. All of the text in the game is filled with spelling and grammar mistakes. It could really use some proofreading.

4. The game crashed when I pressed Enter to go to the credits.

Fun: 3/5

Originality: 2/5

Presentation: 2/5

Overall: 3/5

1. The speed that radiation rises does actually increase as the game progress, although very gradually. Either way, I think the premise of the core going "out of control" is enough to fit the theme, although maybe not too strictly.

2. I think this is a fair point, especially for the fishing minigame. It's more difficult and easier to fail than the other games, so giving you more time would be better.

3. The game doesn't end, although since the time you have left decreases over time, you'll eventually reach a kill-screen.

4. I unfortunately didn't have time to add any in-game instructions or a main menu. The game is pretty small and fast-paced, so hopefully just playing each minigame once or twice is enough to understand everything.

I did have some more minigames planned which I didn't have time to include. I might go back and add those in later, although I'm not sure if I can do that during the rating period. Thanks for the constructive criticism. I'll play your game as well.
