It's a ledge grab, it just looks silly with the pixel art. I added it for leniency for the jumps.

I played it again and I think I didn't go through all the dialog so i just kept falling through. I liked the coding art style you did.
I enjoyed playing your game. My only suggestion to make it more user friendly is to have bigger UI buttons because I missed the CCTV in the corner for a while. I like how everything feels smooth when it comes to placing things on the cork board.
