Really cool art style!  Well done

Released from today is Faction Wars - A fun grid based strategy game.  Fantastic as local multiplayer but with singleplayer mode too.  The game a a fun take on the genre with random elements and great artwork .  Players are rewarded for their efforts with almost 150  (148...) customisation options for their army.

Really great game to play with a friend or spouse.

thanks for taking the time to review and feedback. I know that it’s hard and unbalanced - there was no attempt to make it that you could actually last too long and the van was the method to get around faster but had the risk of running people down but added fun.- that aspect was a conscious decision. 

The getting stuck etc was not so I take those points back to the lessons learned. This was my first attempt at a game jam.

I liked this.  The idea was good and well executed.  Perhaps the character speed was a little too fast?  Maybe im just rubbish at it but i hit the walls a few times too many due to reaction speed.  The bird is nicely animated too.  Well done.

Great little fun game.  The physics on the pumpkin are especially impressive!

The controls handled great and the shooting was well done but i keep dying for what seems like no reason.  Nothing is hitting me but i still die after about 5 seconds each time i load.

No problem  and thanks for your thoughts on my game.  I just tried yours and it works.  I like the dark brooding atmosphere and the lighting effect is really cool.  Adding sound will really bring it to life.

Nice fun game - first try... 748.  Next try 5400ish.... because i didn't undertand how the fuelling worked first time.  Controls feel nice, the ship flies perfectly smooth and the visuals are nice.  Would be cool if the asteroids bounced off each other so you had some unexpected trajectories to deal with.  The music is nice but it kinda stops after a while into silence and then skips straight back in, seemed a bit disjointed.

Tried to play - The Unity load screen hangs at about 90% and doesn't move.  I just found out that my game wouldn't load either so i uploaded as a zip file and it all works.  Better than having a product you think is finished and wondering why nobody is giving you feedback :)

This was my first jam and it was a great learning experience.

Great game - I couldn't get past level 5 without cheating!  So that's my high score i guess.  Love the geometric visual style of the game and all works really effectively.  Good fit with the Jam theme Less is More too!

Thanks for pointing this out - It is now fixed.  I am new to this so very grateful for your feedback.  I will now go and update my other project since i'm sure it will have the same issue!!!

The year is 2035.

After many riots, the government introduced a "ban on diversity", forcing the population into strict routines and restricting personal interactions.  Interactions create ideas and these ideas can lead to unrest.  Therefore the Control Patrol are needed.

In Control Patrol it is your job to patrol the streets of your local neighborhood and keep the peace.  You do this by restricting interactions of the people and "zapping" them if they get too emotional from their interactions.

In the time of Control Patrol - Less is More when it comes to the success of our community.

Hi everyone - This is my first release on Itch.io following many failed attempts at learning C#.  Finally i found some courses that got me over the initial hurdle (more of a very tall wall) and am now learning on the fly and actually seeing progress finally.  It's very rewarding when you can finally make the artwork come to life on the screen!!!!

I have been working like a demon since the start of 2021 to get the game to this point but with the version that i just uploaded for you guys i am going to be working on a game jam for the next week so i can collate any feedback and get back to work in a weeks time.

Use your wits to outsmart your opponent in a ferocious battle across a grid based game arena spanning the battlefield between your civilization and theirs.

The aim of this game is to give exciting short multiplayer battles for players to enjoy lasting around 10 minutes each with random elements and timers to keep the game fast paced and interesting.
