Story, level design, features I want to add, almost all visuals, set, still havent made them in unity and writen any script aside from basic player movement.
To be honest it's never a bad idea to start with menus and things. Oftentimes I don't get to those until later and then I have to throw something buggy together at the last second.
I have essentially completed the core mechanics. Now for sounds, then level design and some basic settings. And, of course, polish, including several very small details.
Finished replacing my prototypes with custom models today. I still have some sound fx that I might look at replacing, and I need to wire up the music/sfx volume config panel. Then I'm ready to wrap up and upload.
Today i realized my idea doesn't work as well as code. Sadly but i have nothing to submit to date :( I'm out. I will take a short break to get myself together and try another time another jam. Good luck guys!
I still need to add music/sfx, a timer (that should be easy, right?... right?!) and more levels. Thought with all in place making levels is really a matter of 20 minutes each! Then it will be time to polish! (And debugging, but hopefully no big time consume there)
Hopefully my newly created tutorial level isn't trash. Today I've also finished implementation of SFX and a master volume settings(there's no music/ambient sounds). Also hopefully, nothing essential breaks while I create more levels and polish it all up!
Core is almost there, need music and menu, I think that 2 nights should be enough for me though I am nervous, this is my first jam and I really do want to submit a game!
