Thank you for the feedback--I see what you're saying about the level design and backgrounds. Could you let me know what could be improved about the camera? Would love to hear how to make the experience smoother.

The art and music are great! Such a great touch to have the music change tone every time the player takes damage. I also think the animations looked wonderful. One bit of feedback for your game as you continue to work on it--I think the time between death and restart should be minimal, especially since the main theme is fighting a challenging boss where they are meant to die over and over. It looks very promising, best of luck!!
The art and music are incredible, and make for a great polished experience. I particularly liked how cohesive everything felt. The restriction of the palette to a few intentionally chosen colors, combined with the well designed music and sound effect, makes the game look and feel beautiful. My only feedback is that the hitboxes and movement did feel a little too restrictive, which may have been intentional for this retro-styled game.
Very fun and unique mechanic! I did encounter the same invisible wall but was able to snipe the enemy from across it when the power ball came close to me lol. You should definitely expand on this game more if you have the time--off the top of my head I don't know of any well-known published games that do this yet.
The art and lighting are stunningly good. The gameplay is also great!
I did encounter a game breaking bug--sometimes I found myself falling indefinitely outside of the map which forced me to quit to the menu and restart my save (couldn't figure out how to continue old game). The mouse sensitivity also defaulted to 0 for me, so I spent a good amount of time not sure how to aim. But when I was playing the game as intended it was awesome!!! I was so excited to return to the checkpoint and upgrade my stats. Personally I wish the sword movement speed was a little more buffed-I threw everything into dexterity and only felt a slight difference. I think players love a nice fast sword swing haha. Overall though, the gameplay, art and sound worked beautifully together and I would love to play this more.
You all did a wonderful job with this--the game has unique, enjoyable mechanics I have not seen before and presents a challenge that it executes well. I got to wave 9 the first time. I felt like it was getting quite difficult and almost gave up but tried again and on the second run, got to wave 10 and found out that I won. I also liked the electricity art--you did a great job making it feel like electricity without needing any advanced special effects.
For feedback, I would have liked some kind of hint that I was close to winning. Like, maybe instead of saying "wave 3", it could say "7 waves remaining."
