Hello!

I took a screenshot and tried again in a fresh project and was not able to replicate the issue there, either. It appears to be a VisuStella MessageCore incompatibility. Sorry for the bother!

I would have liked to have been able to switch faces without any opening or closing/flickering in between, but with MessageCore turned off, this is working great (when the face is not changing).

Thank you for looking into this for me!

This definitely fixes the lingering face image. Thank you!

There is still a 'flickering' that happens. Let's say I have three text boxes that appear in a row, they all have the same face image. In between each message box, the face image disappears for a split second and reappears. Is there a way to remove that behavior? I would prefer if the face image stayed in place during the entire dialogue, and then move to the place outside of the screen afterward.

I appreciate your help!

hello,

I would like to use this plugin but not necessarily the animations (default MZ behavior). When I turn the Width/Height Direction both to 'None', however, it introduces an issue where the Face Window stays open even after the message/event has ended. Is there a way to force the Face Window to close when text messages are no longer being displayed?

I'm using MZ and not using the Galv plugin, so perhaps a different issue than those mentioned below?

Thank you for all your hard work on these sprites! I've been seeing the posts on the rpg maker forum of these sprites and the mv ones you have made, and I think you've convinced me to switch my characters to tall sprites. Lol

This is one of my favorite sets! I ended up using a lot of your sets in my game, and I just love the atmosphere they give.  Beautiful work!

Congratulations everyone! This jams competitors have shown such great examples of how awesome RPG maker games can be. :)

Thank you for the great feedback!

We had so much planned for the story and maps but it would have taken over the hour mark, and we wanted to have the main story conclude within that time.

You are right! :) The characters are from another world/game.

I always make maps too big lol it just seems so small in the maker to me. XD Definitely something I am always trying to improve.

Thanks for playing.

This was a new idea to me with the puzzles that I didn't even know could be done with Rpg Maker! I love the art work and it was a fun dip in the non-combat rpg world that i haven't ventured very far in before. This inspired me for how picture events could be done.

I loved the anime style art and the surprise alerts with the city. (Trying not to spoil anything) lol

Also it made me crave some ramen XD

Thank you for playing the game!

You didn't miss anything with the flower, it's an Easter egg for our next game. :)

I like how you do mapping, and also the effects put around! I got the guilty ending. hehe

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. For the bats and such, we wanted to provide an experience similar to fighting in smaller scale battles and gaining levels/experience, but in a quick format! Any future non game jam rpgs we publish will be turn based only.  :)

Thank you so much! :)

Should games be unencrypted? I had posted my game encrypted but now I am not sure if that is allowed.
