Thank you very much for your feedback! I'm quite proud of the art.

I'd honestly love to develop this game more, give it a propper buildup, progression, secrets, tutorial and ending, but unfortunately there just wasn't the time during the jam for doing it all solo. I really wish I could have made it longer though.

Based on all the feedback I've gotten though, might be worth expanding on it outside of the jam, someone suggested slingshotting the slime into things could be fun, which would lend well into puzzle platforming too!

At least I could get a secret dinosaur in there before the deadline ;)

Yeah I'd love the opportunity to just tweak a few numbers and change "press down" to "hold down" but alas, it is what it is.

Glad the visuals work well for you though!

Thank you so much!!!

I'll send you a copy if I make more of it <3

And that was the secret story all along ;)

Or just some weird difficulty curving haha

Yeah crisping things up a little would probably be nice, give the character a bit more control when it comes to dodging the slime.

I'm glad you liked the vibe of it though! I'm usually more of an artist than a programmer and I think that shows :P

A friend of mine said "this reminds me of 'Get Over It'", and I think that might be on theme :P

It could probably do with a bit of a smoother difficulty curve though haha, but I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Yeah a walking enemy or two to make that leaving the body mechanic extra risky would've been fun too.

But game jams are full of woulda's, and I think what you've published is awesome.

That's so nice of you to say! I just might make that game.

Quite impressive to get all this for the jam! Some nicer camera controls would've been welcome though, was pretty hard to see what I was doing a lot of the time.

Very very pretty, amazing that you made your own stuff for this cause it's gorgeous.

Kinda tricky to get things to work though, feels a bit arbitrary as to when the frogs will or won't follow you, and some of the interactions are a bit unforgiving.

So CUTE!

Really fun to think through. A great exploration of the mechanics you made. Nice mix of puzzle and platformer.

No real critiques for a game jam game, very natural.

Amazing work <3

Once I got my head around the wall of text at the start I quite enjoyed this one. Pretty standard bullet hell faire, but the stat changing did make for some interesting play. I think mostly it's just a bit dense mechanically, hard to keep track of everything, so I ended up turning speed and hitbox all the way down and running with that.

Really unique take on the theme!

The real hot tip is to draw everything 4x bigger than you want it to be and then shrink it down with hard edges, comes out looking crisp :)

Thank for the feedback though! Had to rush it at the end cause it was 4am where I live ^.^' but I'd love to expand on this one. Slingshotting the depressing cloud at enemies is a great idea too!

Neat! Hits all those tamigotchi vibes and tries to get its hooks in my brain haha. Definitely not the most to-the-brief game I've seen but very cute

A neat little nugget of a game. Definitely the sort of thing that would benefit from a bit of refinement and variation but such is game jamming. Solid Effort!

Nice take on the theme, with some solid gameplay to boot. Very natural ramp up of difficulty, especially for a game jam.

Unfortunately the file was quite large and then didn't run. It seems like some drm/missing dlls got in the way of it working
