How does your game fit the theme?
The stat system in our game is entirely joined together. When you raise one stat it drops another. This goes directly into how the game works.

The concept is very interesting! I wish the controls were a little easier to remember and the UI was bigger so I could read it more easily. But it was fun trying to dodge all the bullets!
Thank you, we were trying to decide the best way to do the controls. We should have possible put the controls on the screen. We also were thinking about a system that you have to scroll through which stat to change but we thought it might be to slow for a bullet hell. Thanks for playing our game.
Once I got my head around the wall of text at the start I quite enjoyed this one. Pretty standard bullet hell faire, but the stat changing did make for some interesting play. I think mostly it's just a bit dense mechanically, hard to keep track of everything, so I ended up turning speed and hitbox all the way down and running with that.
Really unique take on the theme!
Yeah honestly we were a little worried that that might be the "best" way to play. Our ideas to expand this would be to make it so certain enemies can't take damage with certain stats or some kind of seeking round if you are below a certain hitbox size. That way it makes the game a bit more interesting. Thanks for playing our game.
really enjoyed the idea, the controls confuse me though, starting with the fact that you want to hold a button to shoot and have to use the same hand to adjust stats, with z being very close to shoot buttons for moments like 'why don't blue crystals die? oh i pressed z like 10 seconds ago and now i'm in a bullet hell with no way out', straight to the fact that asdf - the buttons located lower on your keyboard - raise the stat, and qwer lower it. had a lot of fun, but wow the controls could use some work
Totally agree with you they need work. We went with this at the time because we thought them being closer together would allow for faster adjustments when the player really needed it. Thanks for playing our game.
Interesting concept, but it is quite confusing when you play it tbh, maybe with simpler controls or a way to pause and think what stats you want it would've been more fun to play. Still a nice game! Congrats on the submission :)
It definitely needs some work on the controls. Thanks for playing our game.
Really like how your stats change over time and the bullet hell type feel. Really good execution!
I am glad you liked it. Thanks for playing our game.
