This game is oddly addictive. I hope I haven't made things too easy for the next players, but it felt satisfying trying out new paths and marking them along the way. The camera movement and click sound effects are a very nice touch. Really ambitious prototype considering the asynchronous multiplayer elements and the game design challenges. Great job!

Thank you so much! We're so glad that you (and especially your cat) approve of the game!

Muito obrigado! Ficamos mesmo muito felizes por saber que acham Meowster Chef divertido!

Thank you so much!!!

Muito obrigado!!!

I think this game has the most polished artstyle of the jam! The concept is also really interesting, gave me Castle Crashers vibes!

If I would move on with this project, that is definitely something that needs attention. Thank you so much for your feedback!

IMy original idea was to make each 2 waves in different levels, but ended up without enough time. Thank you so much for you feedback!

The presentation in this game is really cool! The way homing missiles follow you kept me on edge at first, but as soon as I realized I could just move behind enemies and use that as my weapon was super cool. Some tense or upbeat music would be nice, though. Good job!

The only abilities in the game are the dash and the meow which pushes the enemies away. There could be more skills in the game, but the difficulty scaling might be the biggest issue. Thank you so much for your feedback!!

Thank you so much! I had to deliver the jam early and ended up without time for game balancing. Upon replaying the game, I think the meow cooldown should be smaller too. Thank you so much for your feedback!!

I like the visual style, mixing the 3D environment and 2D sprites! Also, I was just moving around by firing at the floor since it made you leap from the ground.

Honestly, my favorite game so far. The gunplay is so enjoyable! The Double Chickenator and my wife's purse were my favorite weapons. The core game loop is also fun! With sound effects and an end state (I don't know if it was a bug, but I opened every door in the game and wasn't able to escape), this would be a gem! The visuals are so good!

My max score was 32. I really liked the look of the drawn assets and found the game to be an enjoyable typing exercise! The difficulty scaling could be a bit slower, as it quickly becomes overwhelming (might be a skill issue on my end).

I agree, the level design could be improved for a more dynamic experience. Thank you so much for your feedback!

I found the concept fascinating, and you've executed it quite well! While the level design could benefit from a bit of improvement and I encountered a minor issue where one of my allies got stuck behind a wall, it was still a really enjoyable experience! Would love to see this concept turn into a full game!

This game is so fun! You have a really good grasp on making a simple concept engaging! The retro visuals and sound really come together! Great job!

Really enjoy the shader work and 3D models in this game! Great job!

super interesting core mechanic! great job!

Zoom your way out of trouble!!

Great game! Amazing visuals and intringing story! I'd love to see the finished project!

Egg Wick was done dirty... Very funny, loved the art direction!

That final boss is low-key terrifying.

This game's story has potential! Keep going!

I now know more about the animal kingdom... and myself... and dolphins.

Cool use of perspective!!

Very fun game! The mechanics felt polished! Amazing!

I liked the comedy of it all!

Cool concept!! I liked the art direction!

Thank you!!!

We plan on fixing a few things on this project that were overlooked due to time constraints. Hopefully, the new version won't have these issues! Sorry and thank you!

Yes and no. It was supost to make you aware that there is an eminent danger that makes you have to continue going right, but if you were unlucky maybe the checkpoint made it so that the enemy respawned right behind you. I'm sorry if that affect your experience! The game definitely needs some balancing.

First of all, thank you so much for playing the game and for the kind words!

About the theme, the first thought that came to mind when we saw the jam theme was to make the main character a demon like beast and the enemy something cute. So the demon is the "good person" and the cute robot the "antagonist". Then we thought of making the loop be of outside environments, but in reality it's a fabricated world, and the demon hasn't gone out to the real world yet.

This being said, I understand the theme is not too evident in our project. Something to work on future jams!

We didn't want to be too much "in your face", but at the same time I agree that some things should be clearer, like the end goal. Either way, thank you so much for playing!

Thank you so much!

The game is really fun, good job!!

Hey, tank you! We honestly realize that that's one of the projects weak spots, we appreciate all feedback and we'll try to work on it!
