Cool concept and story!, I've a pretty similar opinion on the sense of progression, as my emotion between early and later level doesn't really change. But also cute art!

The game is very difficult, but at the same time, it is hard to feel a sense of progress because we are only, well, dodging enemies. We are neither defeating them nor truly escaping, in the sense of getting somewhere else. Of course, it is meant to depict a nightmare, and this is how they often feel!
IMy original idea was to make each 2 waves in different levels, but ended up without enough time. Thank you so much for you feedback!
dam thats real cute, but yea a lil too hard got to the 7th wave and got obliterated i still like it a lot tho
maybe sum like a dash mechanic or sum else to complement the first ability would be good
The only abilities in the game are the dash and the meow which pushes the enemies away. There could be more skills in the game, but the difficulty scaling might be the biggest issue. Thank you so much for your feedback!!
mannnn that game is hard, I thought it would be easier but I couldn't pass the wave 5.
Congrats for the game, really liked the visual and the cloud transitions the only thing I felt was missing a skill to do a small meow but maybe that would make the game much easier.

Finished it with 1 heart left. The game is enjoyable and graphically polished, something on the walls would have been a good idea to discourage the player to always stay near them
