I loved how deeply atmospheric and evocative of a sense of place this was, using so few pixels. The use of limited palette across screens and the simplified line drawings of the flowers, coupled with the BEYOND AMAZING and poetic writing, really drew me into the small glimpse of a world you've offered here.

The visuals for this game are amazing, as is the music. However, I couldn't play very far into the game before giving up because the writing often makes no sense. I think getting a proofreader who is fluent in English would help a lot. Also, the History feature is unusable because the text is rendered without any punctuation or sentence breaks. The font choice for History is VERY hard to read.
Examples of lines in the first 5 minutes that are really hard to understand due to the grammar issues:
"People believe he can be a myth or something like that."
"I'm not going to give up on catching him and handing him over to the police and show them that my dismissal was in vain."
"Sometimes I regret thinking how much this obsession with this killer consumed me."
"If you don't mind being even more outlaw..."
"It looks like his bones are made of foam, because he moves like a ragdoll."
I'm trying to play this game, but for some reason, the game is very blurry on my computer. I'm playing the Windows version. especially the text and UI are all kind of fuzzy and blurry, like they're stretched out (but I'm playing it in the window dimensions the game launches in... I couldn't find a full screen option.) It's not as sharp as the screenshots on the game page. Does anyone have any ideas how i could fix this? Thank you.
I didn't realize until seeing this thread that the reviews i've written for games are only seen by the dev and anyone who happens to follow me (which is one person, since I don't publish my own work here.) That's very frustrating and I feel kind of awkward about it now for reviews that were more critical of a game's UI/etc. I write reviews with the assumption other prospective players are going to see- if I knew reviews were actually going ONLY to devs I'd have written them to sound more like "feedback"... it's very confusing.
Bumping this because I am struggling with not having a search right now! I have several hundred games from buying bundles, on top of games I purchased outside of bundles. It's impossible to search through. It's also frustrating that your library doesn't tell you exactly how many games you even own (or it does not tell you in a place I can easily find, at least.)
Hey, I'm on Firefox too! I'm struggling to play most games in-browser. Apparently it is a long-standing issue that itch.io browser games do not work with firefox. I made a thread here in the Questions forum: https://itch.io/t/3084013/in-browser-games-dont-work-on-firefox
Hello, thank you for the reply! I do have hardware acceleration turned on. My PC is a desktop specced for PC gaming, though I put it together in 2020 and have not updated it since so it's not top of the line. It does have Intel i5-9400F CPU and NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1660 Ti... so I should be able to, and am usually able to, play most browser-based games.
Hi, I'm having a lot of issues trying to run games on Firefox in-browser. It doesn't matter what engine the game was made in (Renpy, Twine, Unity), there is severe amounts of lag that loads text and assets and animations in a slow, choppy way. and other errors (screens not loading even if audio does; screens being zoomed in 100-500x even for games that don't have a zoom-in option.)
When I download the games, they work fine booted from my computer directly. Things also work fine so far on Safari. It's just Firefox, and this is only an issue for me since this week, but Firefox has not updated, the issue persists even with all extensions/adblocks/VPNs turned off, and there are no changes in my computer at all. All other programs and websites, including in-browser games on other websites, work fine.
Is there something I am missing? Thank you for any assistance.
Example of diverse games I am having these errors with:

Hello, I'm unsure if I'm doing something wrong, but after I click to start the game in the menu, I get a black screen with background SFX playing. I thought maybe this was part of the game to build anticipation but then 5 minutes passed and it was still the same black screen with the noise of water, boats creaking, a door etc. I clicked all sorts of buttons but nothing changed. I'm wondering if there is something I'm meant to do or if this is a glitch? Thank you.
I really liked this! I wasn't sure what to expect going in, but I really love the nostalgic use of old-school JRPG/dungeon-crawling level design, juxtaposed with the flashback scenes... Honestly this was a weirdly relatable game to play, so I have a lot of feelings after finishing and getting such a downer ending lol. I really like that the set-up is your classic RPG "fight the monsters to save the love of your life!" plot, but then then the real monster is the love of her life- the JRPG monsters all try to convince her to save herself and yet never bar her way (or is she striking them down without them resisting...?)
I also am very into the use of a "curse" analogy for an abusive and toxic relationship. It makes me think a lot about how so many people, especially women, think they're obligated to try to "change" abusive person they fall in love with, for myriad reasons. But really, it isn't up to anyone to break the "curse" that causes people to be abusive, especially not at the expense of their own well-being and happiness..
A lot of thoughts about this despite how short it is lol. Which just speaks to how much depth and emotion you skillfully packed into it. Thank you for sharing!
Hi, I've been trying to play this, but when I go to the Options menu to change settings for disability accessibility reasons, and try to click "X" or "Escape" to exist the Options menu, I get this error:
"SecurityError Failed to read the 'localStorage' property from 'Window': Access is denied for this document."
The game freezes and I have to restart the page for it to unfreeze. I'd like to play with the Dash Always On feature, but because of this error, it's impossible to set it.
EDIT: Just confirmed this error happens with every single one of your games when I try to exit the OPTIONS menu :( Is this something that has a workaround? Thank you.
