Yeah i simply ran out of time to refine the expereince and add more complexity, there were supposed to be more enemies, some you could pick up and throw, some that would shoot projectiles you could catch etc. And a final boss which would have been the monster's heart. But alas scope creep got me abit this time around, spent too long on the visuals.

Thanks! And yeah i agree with you, i simply ran out of time to add more things and refine the experience. 

And the step forward was also not meant to be as jarring as it is and its something i regret not fixing when i first implemented it but oh well, thats just how the cookie crumbles.

I would have liked to add a sensitivity slider as the default value i set felt inconsistant across different computers i tried it with. But alas i ran out of time unfortunatly, still thanks for playing!

Very cool! Lovely vibe to it all and always enjoy seeing 2.5D Games. Weapons were fun and unique, (beach ball my beloved) and Wheeley had some interesting attacks, the lasers were quite hard to tell their depth on but otherwise it was very good 🤗

Spectacular art direction and visuals, very satisfying and interesting to look at!

It took me a while to get familiar with the gameplay but once i did it was pretty fun! My one and only and problem really is the lack of a more distinct beat/bass in the song which made it quite difficult to play without my eyes being locked to the metronome.

The difficulty of the health and the reset back to the first boss were mostly unintended, you heal 30% health between bosses (not enough) and the reset was due to me running out of time and just forcing the scene to restart. Alas that's the Game jam way.
