I am part of this but can't figure out how to link myself. So hopefully this comment will lead me back here

Agreed. The meter wasn't locked tighthly enough to the game. There wasn't enough real consequences attached to it. Something to improve on next time :) Thanks for the feeback.

Thanks for playing! Yeh, I agree. After the jam I played the game a bit and I realized there was a lack of clarity in terms of the "get close to the planets but not too close" part of the game. Great feedaback :)

Thanks branlab, thanks for bring your game ot my stream yesterday :D Had great time playing yours also.

Thanks for playing WaveyboiLeo! Glad you liked it. Gonna give your game a play later :D

(1 edit)

Hahaha. I've been streaming some play throughs and I feel like not being able to quit is a running gag lol.

Thanks for playing. Glad you enjoyed it :)

Thanks for playing :) Glad you liked it. The artists did so well this jam XD

Thanks for playing! I agree, the artists did awesome this jam :)

That was awesome! Super original!!! :)

Sorry for for putting you to the trouble of getting me and .exe XD. Really really nice, well thoughout game. The puzzles were interesting , the music fitted nicely. The whole idea was really original.

I take my hat off to you :D Excellent job. My one comment, I wanted more levels.

Hope you had a great gamejam :)

Seriously, best game I played for far this jam. It's sooo good! This game drives you nuts. And all the voices that pop up all the time were really well done. Stressful but funny haha

Really solid game. Only comments would be the character control was a bit too sensitive and it took a few play throughs before I reliazed how to refill energy and talk to my friends.

Excellent job though :) Hope you had a great time making this

Thought the concept was really original. Played without audio the first time then saw the comment below and threw my headphones on. The music made all the difference. Music was relaly nice.

I didn't find it super fun though. (Also it was hard and I was kinda bad at it, so that ight be why XD). Also full screen is busted, maybe cause it was so small I had issues.

Good job. Hope you have a great game jam :)

No worries! Hope you learned a lot and had fun during the jam :)

For me personally, it was more the speed of the game. I think if the sword had killed enemies one shot, went through them, but was harder for you to dodge it might have been more interesting. Kind of, you gotta dodge the enemies but the real challenge is dodging your out-of-control sword lol. Obviously would need testing though and 2 days isn't long to try all those kinds of possiblities :)

I would have also liked to see the sword being more out of control. As in, instead it doing the turn and shoot thing everytime, you never quite knew what it would do. But always knew it would come towards you.

Anyway, obviously the idea was cool if it has so many dimensions to scale on :)

Smartest game I've played so far. I think the graphic level was perfect, no messing about. Really clear what did what. Honestly, I'm really impressed with this one. Simple, Concise, Smart, Creative.

Very good job, my friend

Fitting theme. Love the style. Appreciated the narrative. I found the game a bit slow at times though.

I think that there was room to grow within the mechanic.

Nice job :)

Coming into this game I was really hyped. Loved the art style. Appreciated the the tutorial. Major FTL vibes in the music.

I think something was wrong for me though. Seems chrome isn't loading the font properly or something. Cause 80% of the chat were just squares. I was trying to guess what to mute based on square count lol, but then I realized it's probably a bug.

Really great idea though. Cool work :)

Yeh, that's a massive download. It's always funny to see a pixel game build in Unreal with the "Lighting needs to be rebuilt" comment in the left.

I had a lot of issues with this game, but not necessarily because of the concept. It was cute, and I liked the effort put into the characters. There was a decent amount of story the art design.

My issues were many gameplay related. Mustard didn't always fire, and there was something strange about the hit boxes on cookies and enemies because no matter what I did I couldn't seem to actually save anything. Maybe that was the point.

Great idea, nicely executed. I really liked how you took simple art, a straightforward concept and really ran with it. Really nice, quick calming game.

Man, that was original concept. Shotter where you don't wanna shot anyone, lol. Made me laugh a lot.

Some of those levels were pretty unforgiving though. The box pushing one got me right at the end. I think that there needed to be a way foor the player to know there were guys off camera, cause the most frustrating thing was shooting someone you didn't know was there.

Was a good time though, I'm impressed how far you manged ot take the concept in your levels. Design was good even if challenging.

Nice work :)

First thing that struck me were the animations. Really nice in two days especially the dog. Nice and simple. The dog animations were really well done. Great fit for the theme.

There were a few things I wasn't so sure about.

- I'm not getting audio? I think sounds would have enriched this. Is it my end there's something wrong?

- I was confused about getting the children to follow you? Was that the goal? To me it seemed I was supposed to but I feel I didn't get any feedback during the game when I did it. I could go through a level with or without the child. Maybe I just didn't finish it, once the levels looped around twice I stopped playing.

Overall, good job. First game I've played :)
